We walked around the streets with the stars lighting the sidewalks besides from the post light. I had no idea what he had in mind. Asking me on a date wasn't expected. I didn't know he was actually going to be serious with it.
"So, where are we going?" I asked, sticking my hands in my back jeans pocket. He didn't answer but instead, opened the door for a Chinese restaurant. I got in while he held the door open for me.
"Good Evening, Mr. Parker. How may I help you tonight?" a Chinese teenager asked Mason. It's like they knew each other for a very long time from the look the girl gave Mason. She gave me a small glare. She doesn't like my appearance. I bet she is one of the girls that Mason screwed that's why she knows him, well.
" Give me the usual and her also." Mason eyed me. I know I am suppose to think this is sweet when the guy orders for you but I don't. The food he ordered might just go to waste.
"And your drinks, Mason?" she asked. The way she said Mason didn't sound appropriate for a restaurant like this. She was eye raping Mason. I can tell.
"The usual, Shelley. Now, will you leave my date and I? Only come here when our order is ready." Mason said to her. She left and grabbed the menu book from my hands. That was harsh for bought of this people.
"You come here, often?" I asked.
"Uh, yeah. This was my mom and I's favorite restaurant." he spoke and looked down on the table, not wanting to have eye contact. "So, does the relationship and stuff like this date, satisfy enough?"
"Uh." was all I could say. "Not quiet, yet." I smiled.
"Great. Now, I know that you're not just playing with me." he said. "So, tell me about yourself."
"We've known each other for 3 months now. Wasn't it enough for you to know me? " I questioned.
"How about we play Q and A?" he suggested. I know if I agree to this, his questions might get personal.
"How about we just talk about only you?" I suggested.
"Well, what do you want to know about me? Isn't 3 months enough?" he smirked.
Touché. I smiled as I tuck my hair behind my ears.
Our order came and we started to eat it. So his usual was spicy noodles, soup, and kimchi. I ate all mine because I love spicy food. While we ate, we all had small talk. Small talk like how was my day and how was his, how badass I was in class, how he was really serious about this relationship.
When we finish, we started to walk back to the arcade where the others were, I thought. Instead, we were still walking, opposite of where the arcade was.
"So, tell me why we are walking around the streets on a cold night?" I spoke
"Cause then, I would of got to have all you to myself. No one interrupting us." he stated.
"Yeah? Interrupt us with what? We're not even having a conversation but this." I said.
"Point made. But if you didn't want to be with me then why don't you just say so. Let's go." he halts.
"Mason, I didn't say that." I sighed.
"Oh, so, you really do want to spend time with me." he smirked. "I know, I am awesome but don't need to make it awkward." he added. So cocky.
"And I didn't say that also." I queried. He inhaled with a big smile on his face.
"We'll get more time to spend with each other next time, anyways. You are mine." he pointed. To my surprise, he grabbed my arm and hooked it with his. His left arm hooked to my right arm as his left hand intertwine with it. We walked back to the arcade.
