It had been a while since the Alpha had sat down with his Beta and Gamma. He wanted to say that he was enjoying the time with his brothers, but TJ always had a way of giving him a migraine. In fact, right now his brother was rambling endlessly about his kinky new mate.

"She loves anal, can you even believe that?" he stammered, jaw dropped and brown eyes wide. "I'm not usually a big ass man but when your bitch wants it up the butt, you put it up the butt."

Ryan's newly-shorn head was lowered to the countertop and he was making noises that communicated his lack of enthusiasm for the topic. "Dude, come on. We don't want to hear about your mate's asshole."

"It's fucking tight," Teej continued to muse with joy. "She can do this thing where she constricts around me and I fucking—"

The Alpha waved a large hand in the air and couldn't help but to chuckle at this. "Alright, alright. I think we get the point that her ass is tight. Can we move on to some other business?"

TJ raised an eyebrow. "Like?"

"What have you heard about Red Dawn?" Chris inquired. "What's the latest? I feel like it's been months since you came to me with any information from your sources."

The Gamma shrugged. "There's nothing. There was a lot of whispering that something major was going to go down among the pack, but nothing has happened and there hasn't been another peep. There's some unrest in the Full Sail Pack but that seems to be an internal power struggle. I'm not too concerned about it."

Chris considered his brother's words and then shrugged. "Alright. Next item, what's the latest on cousin Vincenzo?"

Ryan sat up straight at this and shook his head slowly. "It's bad. He's lost a lot of weight, including all the muscle that he had gained in his training. He's not reporting for patrols either. He sits at Isolde's bedside all day and she's given up. She won't eat, so Rick basically has her on a forced feeding tube."

Sadness crossed the Alpha's eyes and he winced. "Fuck. Is there anything we can do?"

The Beta shrugged at this question. "You can give Rick the order to stop intervening medically and allow her to kill herself with neglect. That's about the only option."

"I can't do that," Chris bowed his head and felt the weight tug at his heart. His voice dropped to a whisper as he asked, "Should I do that?"

TJ nodded. "Yes. She's useless, let her off herself. It's one less mouth to feed."

Ryan glanced at TJ, began to speak, and then stopped himself. Turning his gaze toward the Alpha, he sighed. "I would not make that decision right now. It's too horrible of a situation that bears too much emotional weight for you to just decide over coffee."

Chris nodded in agreement. "What else am I missing? I've been very focused on my mate and I'm sure that I've overlooked something."
