Excitement was currently the only emotion present on Eak's face. Or maybe a bit of determination as well. But he really couldn't help it. His plan to save Western City might sound incredibly stupid and ridiculous, but Eak believed with all his heart they could work this out. Towntrap suggested they'd discuss some things about their gang first, and gestured for Eak to sit down at his table.
The orange-haired boy swept away some photographs and markers before sitting down himself.
He grabbed a pen and paper, causing Eak to tilt his head.
"What do ya need that for?"
"I'm gonna make a mind map to know what's important to have in our gang." Towntrap simply replied.
"The fuck's a mind map?" Eak's brain functioned slowly at the odd word.
"Oh, well...... You write down a word in the center of your paper." Town sat a bit closer to Eak to show he wrote down the word 'gang'.
"That's our key word. Now you draw a line attached to the word. Above the line you write another key word, like, uh, activities for example. Now we gotta write down other key words for activities we'll do in our gang." Towntrap slowly explained.
"Sweet, Carnal!" Eak nodded at the paper in approval.
"What's Carnal?" Now it was Town's turn to look confused.
"It's the Mexican word for buddy!" Eak proudly answered.
"Oh, you're a Mexican?"
"Yeah, got a problem with that?" Eak quickly realized his defensive tone hadn't been necessary.
"No, no! Of course not! I just think that's cool!" Towntrap hastily said.
"Sorry, I'm kinda defensive when it comes to that shit..... Hey, does no racism count as an activity?" Eak grabbed a different colored marker, ready to add it to the list of activities.
"Uh, I think that fits more with the category 'rules'. I know we're rebels n'all, but there's gotta be some rules!" Town gently moved Eak's hand to the other side of the word 'gang'.
"Oh, I gotcha!" Eak excitedly scribbled down the word 'rules' before adding no racism to it.
"No sexism either, I guess. No animal abuse. No homophobia. No stealing. No bullying......" Towntrap babbled on.
"That's a lot of no's......" Eak still wrote down all the things Town mentioned, though.
"Uhm.....how about 'have fun'?" Towntrap suggested.
"Nice one!"
"Now, as for activities......" Towntrap twirled around his pen as he thought of something to add.
"Fighting." Eak stated.
"Fighting? Why?" Towntrap frowned a bit at the mention of violence.
"Come on, Carnal! We're a gang, we're supposed to fight against other bad gangs!" The grey-haired Mexican ushered his friend.
"Alright, alright...... What about rebelling?" Town quietly offered.
"Hell yeah, dude!" Eak began mixing colors together.
"What else could we add?"
"Make allies." Eak suddenly said.
"Allies? How come?" Towntrap handed Eak another marker, noticing his friend already ran out of new colors to use.
"We gotta uphold a reputation! If we befriend other good gangs, we'll have a unity! And if a friendship can spark up between many different gangs, other kids will surely follow or example quicker!" Eak casually explained as he continued scribbling down words.
