Eak gulped as the pink guy still hadn't removed his pocket knife away from his throat. It seemed as though everyone was more focused on watching Lilly and Abby bicker, and Eak knew it was too risky to try and back off out of the blue.
"There's nothing 'tea' about threatening people with knives, Abby! What if people call the cops?" Lilly clearly wanted to cross her arms, but the drinks in her hands prevented her from doing so.
"Well they can't!" Abby replied carefree.
"What? Of course they can......." Lilly frowned in confusion.
"No because we've got all these lads blocking out Felix and that other guy so they won't even see the conflict." Abby snarkily explained.
Lilly rolled her eyes in response. Fede was just about to speak up (hopefully to explain the obvious misunderstanding), when Toddy, who had been peacefully finishing her orange juice in the background the whole time, marched up to them. Her pace was fast and confident as she maneuvered her way past Oxy and Puppet to get to Felix and Eak.
Both of the boys offered her a confused look as the redhead went to stand almost directly in front of Felix. The awkward silence was broken by the loud sound of skin on skin.
Toddy had slapped Felix. Bitch-slapped him, actually. She'd taken the hand that was holding the knife, pushed it backwards and then she slapped him.
It was the most badass thing Eak had ever seen.
"Holy shit......" Loon knew how to put everyone's emotions to words.
"Did you just slap me??" Felix looked absolutely mortified as he put a hand to his stinging cheek.
"I sure did, Strawberry Milkshake. Now, if you'll finally shut the hell up, stop waving your knives around and listen to your boyfriend over there to solve this dumb-ass conflict." Toddy crossed her arms and leaned onto one leg, striking an 'Alpha' pose.
Felix froze up for a second, taking in Toddy's words. Chica didn't miss the way Felix's cheeks dusted a light pink when Toddy had referred to Fede as his 'boyfriend'. And well, she also didn't miss the heart eyes Eak was making at Toddy, but that was easier to guess.
Eventually, Felix shortly nodded, putting his knife in his back pocket.
"Aight, Darling. I guess I could do that." Felix nonchalantly shrugged.
Eak was clearly about to say something about Felix's use of words (more specifically 'Darling'), but Toddy merely shushed him with a slap to the shoulder.
"So, uhm, as I wanted to say......." Fede nervously started off, gulping a bit when all eyes turned to him.
He shook his head, took a deep breath and relaxed.
"Me and that, uhm, shark dude-"
"Onnie." Onnie offered Fede a rather annoyed glare.
"Me and Onnie bumped into each other, I dropped my ice-cream and he fell down. Obviously he was more hurt than I was, but I made a scene out of dropping my ice-cream, I guess. He got a little mad, you guys came along and things went from zero to one-hundred real quick........" Fede explained, his nervous tone dissapearing out of nowhere.
Felix and Abby both looked embarrassed by the news, as if it were that hard to figure out for themselves.
"Oh, well....... I guess we owe you guys an apology." Abby awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck as Lilly gave her an encouraging pat to the shoulder.
"Eh, I don't care that much. Just didn't get why you two suddenly freaked out like that!" Onnie commented, at last having successfully removed all the shells out of his elbow.
