Maybe spraying shit on the walls of the museum was petty, but fuck if Onnie cared.

He and Oxy were spraying with at least 4 different-colored cans each, Onnie making a drawing of a blue bunny with monster teeth and Oxy drawing a fox that appeared to be on fire. Onnie didn't hesitate on spraying the Nightmares' green-flaming skull logo on the wall as well. Even though Onnie and the gang were decent people now, that didn't mean they couldn't mark their territory anymore. Softening up in their neighborhood, or in this city in general, was a dangerous thing to do.

Just because they worked in a shitty supermarket didn't mean that they'd let themselves be messed with.

"Man, check this shit out!" Oxy let out a heavy breath, stepping back from the wall and wildly grinning.

"Might be our best one yet." Onnie smirked, raking his eyes over the, even if he said so himself, impressive drawings.

They'd be doing this shit since they were 9. Back when Onnie only just joined the gang, his first assignment to prove himself to being worthy of joining The Nightmares was to steal some spraying cans from a local shop. He'd succeeded, almost got caught in the act, but no one cared about some 9-year old prick stealing a few cans, so he got off the hook just fine.

Looking back on it, maybe it was a little fucked that he'd already joined a street gang at 9 years old. But Onnie figured it was better than getting taken away by some social service workers and getting stuck in a shitty group home during his entire childhood. Bolting from the police station that day after he got saved from nearly starving in his own house had to be Onnie's best decision in life yet.

Look where it got him! Admittedly, Onnie was still stuck in a shitty neighborhood, but he had a job now, he wasn't doing money concerts anymore. Hell, a rich kid like Toddy who's way outta his league even went on a date with him!

Sometimes Onnie looked back on how far he and The Nightmares had come in the time-span of not even an entire summer, and it made him wanna cry.

But right now, though, crying wasn't the goal he was reaching for.

"Wanna make out?" Onnie suddenly spoke up, casual and without any shame at all.

Oxy seemed to think it over for a moment. He and Onnie hadn't made out in about a month or two. It wasn't a regular thing or anything, they simply did it when they were bored. They weren't romantically interested in each other, but they said 'no homo' and that was it. No judgement, just making out.

They hadn't kissed since Oxy admitted to having a crush on Mai. But maybe if Oxy pretended he was kissing Mai it'd be okay. Onnie had long hair, like Mai. Sure, Onnie's was greasier but Oxy didn't really care about that.

"No homo, right?" Oxy quirked his pierced brow.

"No homo." Onnie grinned as Oxy shrugged.

"Sure."

Like a switch being flipped, Onnie got a hold of Oxy's shoulders and pushed him against the museum's wall. Oxy found it amusing, letting Onnie manhandle him to bow a little so he could reach his mouth.

Skinny fucker thought he was being all tough.

So, they made out. They got to barely one minute before a bright light was shined on them.

"Fuck!" Both the boys jumped apart, startled.

On second thought, maybe wearing their gang's jacket wasn't such a good idea after all.

"Good evening, delinquents." A familiar voice greeted them. Onnie couldn't see him from right behind the bright light, but he knew that it was, without a doubt-
