(So this chapter came out a bit earlier cuz tomorrow I'll be leaving for camp the entire week, and there will most likely not be a new chapter next week :'') I'll still try to publish it the Sunday afterwards, tho! So ye, this book is definitely not dead yet but will have a one-week delay 'till I get back XD)
Eak stepped out of the bathroom, and goddamn it, was he pissed when he heard yelling from a few feet away.
"Oh yeah?! Well I didn't wanna go on a date today either! I really wasn't in the mood to see you!" That was Bon's voice.......
"That's hilarious! Cuz if I remember correctly, you were the one that texted me to ask me out!" Meg.
Eak sighed and stepped back into the training room. Meg and Bon were standing opposite of each other, fists clenched and faces a bit red.
"Because you're always telling me we should go on dates even when shit gets bad! Cuz that's what couples do!" Was Bon's heated defense.
"If you don't wanna go on dates then just tell me instead of asking me out when you don't actually wanna go! I'm not deaf, y'know?!" Meg yelled back at the taller teen.
Eak heavily rolled his eyes and stepped in between them.
"Shut up already." He calmly-on the verge of angrily-stated.
"Wh-this is none of your business, Eak!" Meg stared up at him with eyes that spat fire.
Eak let out a rather frustrated grunt.
"It isn't, huh? Well I'm sorry for tryin' to keep you two from tearing each other's throats out in public. If you're so frustrated with each other just take it out by......having sex or somethin'." Was Eak's not-entirely-thought-through advice.
"What?" Bon and Meg's noses scrunched up at the suggestion.
Eak impatiently made a hand gesture.
"Or just take it out by exercising! That's what we're here for." Eak huffed and crossed his arms.
"Oh, really? Cuz to me it seems you've only been following us around all day cuz you find our 'drama' to be amusing." Meg accusingly stated, warily staring Eak down with one yellow eye.
She could not seriously been suggesting that........
"Seriously? You think I'm just here with you guys to watch some good old relationship drama?" Eak looked back at the white-haired girl rather unfazed.
Bon, surprisingly, did come to Meg's defense. Or at least, he accused him just the same way he did.
"Yeah, why did you insist on going out with us today, anyways? There's not really any other explanation for that........" Bon muttered, his green eyes holding a dark glimpse.
Eak let out a laugh. An annoyed, and incredibly frustrated snort, to be more specific.
"Ever thought of the possibility that maybe I just wanna help you two lovebirds make up? Your drama's been gettin' on everyone's nerves, especially for your band mates." Eak explained, trying to come across as calmer than before.
Aggression usually didn't led to any good.........
Then, Bon had said something stupid.
Hurtful? Debatable. But stupid? Yeah, definitely.
Bon, unaware of how they words would've sounded in Eak's ears, replied with:
"Pfft, yeah right........ Like you know anything about relationships. You've got no idea how hard they can be."
Eak had been stunned at the words, and in the two seconds he was, he saw Bon's eyes widen with surprise at his own words, before he was roughly yanked by his collar and pushed against a punching bag.
