"Sooo, what happened, homie?" Deuz questioned, putting down Oxy's phone and sympathetically glancing at Onnie.

Oddly enough, the smaller teen didn't actually look all that sad, even though Deuz got the implications that he got rejected.

"Well......."

Onnie had a pep in his step when he left the store for his date. Dacre had offered him some advice, even giving him a blue rose he could give to Toddy. He thought he looked good when he checked himself out in the mirror, but yet, just to be sure, he brushed his teeth twice today.

And you might be wondering, why the hell was he suddenly going on a date with Toddy of all people? Well, he'd actually had a crush on her for a few months now. Ever since Deuz started hanging out with Meg, and Onnie saw Toddy......... Yeah, he was a goner as soon as she spoke to him.

"Eww, don't you have any decent clothes to change into? You look like you just stepped straight out of the movie Flushed Away."

Onnie had been too shocked to react, whereas Oxy had laughed like a seagull for minutes on end. But Onnie hadn't been in love right away or anything, he only actually realized he like-liked her when Maggie commented on how hot Toddy was and Onnie found himself yelling "YeS!!" in agreement.

But a rich and confident girl like her was way out of his league. So yeah, color him surprised when Toddy actually agreed to go on a date with him to experiment.

Now, Onnie had no freaking idea of Toddy even had the slightest bit of interest in him on a romantic level. But then again, Toddy confessed to him one time she used to have a big-ass crush on Bon in elementary school, so maybe she just had a thing for blue-heads?

Stopping his rapid train of thoughts, Onnie smoothed back his hair one more time before walking into the restaurant. He glanced around the tables in the place to see where Toddy was seated at, but sadly didn't catch a glimpse of the black-skinned girl. She had been the one to book for seats (of course, with his low-paying job at the supermarket there was no fucking way he'd ever be able to book seats in this restaurant) but also forgot to mention to Onnie exactly where they had to sit.

"Excuse me, young man. Are you looking for someone?" A chubby blonde woman walked up to Onnie, scanning him with her light green eyes.

"I'm, uh, lookin' for Toddy......whatever her last name is......." Onnie hoped the woman would understand his dialect.

Jesus Christ, he didn't even know Toddy's last name. That wasn't very good.

"Oh! She's right outside, kid. Don't keep her waiting!" The woman chirped in a sing-song voice, urging Onnie towards the terrace.

"Thanks??" Onnie sputtered out as he was pushed through the doors.

Onnie saw gorgeous red hair flowing over a fancy white chair, as he got closer, he could see Toddy's make-up drawn face being enlightened with the light of the candle.

She looked breath-taking as always. But something about how casual Toddy was dressed, made his heart beat all that more faster.

You'd probably think he was dressed fancy. He was wearing a smoking, yes, but a short-sleeved one that was actually his pajamas. He hoped she didn't notice.

"Hey, Princess!" Onnie energetically greeted the girl, confidentely marching over to the table.

"Onnie, thank God you're here! I was bored out of my mind!" Toddy huffed, leaning back into her chair with a pout.
