(Btw in case y'all are wondering why I put such a cheerful song over Felix's creepy-ass flashback, it's supposed to be ironic oops)

The silence between them was awkward. Lilly couldn't say she really minded it. Conversations involving her tended to be very uncomfortable sometimes, mostly because of her rusty people skills. Eak's leg was bouncing and he kept checking his phone. Lilly watched as the grey-haired boy's eyebrows shot up to his hairline at a message he was reading.

"Did you and Abby break up?"

Lilly rolled her eyes with a huff. Obviously Abby was gonna twist her words to make the whole situation seem more dramatic than it actually was. Lilly would prefer it if her girlfriend wouldn't go moaning on about their supposed 'break-up' to the entire gang.

"No. We're on a break."

"Chica says Abby's havin' a meltdown in the kitchen while simultaneously singing along to All By Myself by Céline Dion with Toddy." Eak snorted, reading the message with an amused look on his face.

"Oh my God, she does this every time! I think I've only asked for a break like twice in all of the years we've dated??? She keeps singing the most dramatic songs and pretends like it's the end of the world." Lilly crossed her arms and sighed, slumping in her seat.

Eak cackled that stupid cackle of his, The Animatronics' chat being an endless source of amusement. Eak had half a mind to show the video of Abby crying her heart out to Lilly when another message popped up.

He recognized Oxy's number. The text said:

Deuz and Usagi broke up, motherfucker  >:(

For a second Eak wondered how the fuck that had anything to do with him, when he suddenly recalled that every misfortune Deuz ever experienced could somehow be traced back to Eak. Especially after that shit-show of a meeting.

"I really am the relationship reaper, huh?"

"Huh?" Lilly, from where she had previously been zoning out, looked up in confusion.

"Ah, nothin'." Eak quickly put his phone away.

"So what the hell's so important that we had to break into this shit-school for it?" He finally decided to ask.

"Well...... First I'm gonna start with the obvious. You need to apologize to Felix, naturally." Lilly didn't hesitate to glare at Eak this time. The other teen at least had the decency to look apologetic.

"I know. I don't know how I'll do it yet, but I will......" Eak nodded his head a little, looking at Lilly in earnest.

"Okay, good. I won't ask you why you said what you said, but just to let you know, there's nothing wrong with being bis-"

"Don't."

There was something in Eak's eyes Lilly couldn't quite place. She'd seen that look in his eyes before, if she remembered correctly. It was a blank, distant look. Maybe there was a bit of fear in there as well. Whatever was holding Eak back from accepting that part of himself, he clearly wasn't ready to face it yet.

Lilly didn't wanna push. She knew how hard it could be, accepting certain shit about yourself.

"Just.....don't say it." Eak narrowed his eyes, swallowing.

"I think you brought up a bad memory in Felix when you called him that. That's why he froze up instead of punching you in the face......" Lilly continued, pretending the previous statements weren't made.

Eak raised his eyebrows at her, but didn't say anything. He silently nodded for her to continue.

Felix took pride in the memory, despite how traumatic it really was. Lilly felt bad about bringing up the polaroid subject by talking about the accident first. It all connected, sure, but she still wasn't really comfortable about seemingly using the traumatizing event to get the information from Eak she wanted.
