"THE LIFE OF THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!"

Fede's head perked up as he heard the front door slam shut. If Felix's voice already made his heart flutter, then actually seeing the pinkette set his heart on fire.

Felix spotted him, sitting in the crowded circle of teenagers, a red solo cup sat beside him, and his grin widened. He strolled over to Fede with the paper brown bag still held behind his back, eager to surprise his not-yet-but-almost boyfriend.

"Felix, hey!" Fede called out to him, voice almost muffled by the amount of greetings Felix received.

"How's my favorite Funtime doing?" Felix brightly smiled down at the shorter boy, completely ignoring the offended look Lilly shot him.

"I-I'm great! What about you?" Fede stammered out, a flush rising to his neck at the embarrassment of stuttering like that.

He couldn't help it. Fede didn't think there was any alternate universe or timeline in which Felix wouldn't take his breath away.

"Actually, really well. I haven't had an overly emotional hook-up since 'the night' and I've cut ties with all my fuckbuddies!" Felix genuinely answered, a proud spark flickering in his eyes.

So yes, Fede was incredibly jealous at the thought of Felix 'sexing' other people, but then again, he had every right to do so. Up until 'the night', Fede had spend night after night tossing and turning in his bed, upset, heartbroken and horny (because, well, he's a teenager and his crush banged other people, what was he supposed to feel?), but he couldn't ever find it in himself to be mad at Felix for it. Fede didn't  own him or anything. He hadn't even fully made his feelings clear up until that night at the arcade.

Although Fede never really had a clue that Felix was into him like that. The guy flirted with everyone, that was a fact. And no matter how many times Fede told himself he knew Felix through and through, he still had a lot of puzzle pieces to find before he could ever truly unravel the enigma that was Felix Fabulous.

But he was happy. Happy that Felix was getting his life in order, happy that he was finally trying to reach out for things that were good for him. Who knew that all it took was for them to be stuck in the back-room of an arcade to get there?

Well, they weren't fully there yet. Fede knew he'd still have to wait before Felix was fully comfortable with himself to start a relationship. Felix, despite being as romantic as Valentine's Day, wasn't easily committed to relationships, Fede knew that much. He'd never been in a serious one before, always too afraid to be vulnerable towards another person.

Fede could relate to that. He was kind of scared of going into this serious dating thing as well. But he'd wait for Felix for forever if he had to. As cliché as it sounded, Felix made every day better. He was like a beautiful melody stuck in his head. One he'd heard many times before but would never get tired of hearing. Felix's voice was the only sound he wanted to hear for the rest of his life.

"Well, congrats. Did I miss anything happening between you two?"

Although Fede had to admit, he'd probably grow to miss Lilly's analytical comments very soon.

"Nope. Not at all. Fefi just motivated me to focus more on myself and keeping my life together." Felix easily replied, picking up Fede's drink and carelessly taking a swig from it.

"Wonder how he did that......." Lilly muttered more to herself than to anyone else. She was clearly focused on figuring out the new development between her two friends.

It was true that each of The Funtimes had spend countless nights comforting Felix and attempting to get him on the right path, emotionally, that is, after he'd get his heart broken again by some Randy who wasn't as invested in Felix as he was in said Randy.
