After the incident with Mai, things hadn't been any less awkward. Spring had given The Animatronics their jackets, and ushered them out of the store. Eak's gang was clearly still uncomfortable with what happened, even after they received their new clothing. Eak was still pondering about Mai. She had been acting so odd......
"I wanna talk about what happened but I think it's gonna be awkward......." Bonnie suddenly spoke up.
"Agreed. I mean, what happened out there was really scary........" Fox said as he helped Chica put on her skates again.
"Do you think Mai has pyromania?" Golden quietly chimed in.
"Pyromania?" Eak blinked at the difficult-sounding name.
"It's a disorder in which the person having it has an uncontrollable desire to set things on fire. It's pretty intense, if you ask me......" Towntrap explained a bit uneasily.
"Oh......well it's possible. I mean, that would explain a lot......." Just the mere thought of Mai having the desire to set things ablaze made Eak shudder.
"If that was the case, why didn't they warn us about it?" Freddy frowned.
"I dunno, maybe they wanna keep it private?" Chica tried.
"Probably. But still......I hope Spring's gonna tell us about it sometime soon. I don't want this shit to happen again." Freddy's voice slightly shifted again.
"Looks like we're all not feeling really well...... So how 'bout we go skate for a while?" Bonnie offered, trying to lighten up the mood.
"Huh? But aren't those guards still there?" Towntrap didn't sound convinced.
"Nah, I recognized their voices! Those two specific guards don't stay around for as long as they have to. So it's gonna be safe by the time we get there!" Bonnie energetically explained.
"Alright then! Let's go!" Golden hopped onto his skateboard.
"Hey, wait! We don't have any skateboards!" Town watched his friends skate away in horror.
"Then hop on." Fox nonchalantly said.
"Qué?" Eak looked at the redhead with furrowed eyebrows.
"Yeah, come on! Who's the lightest of you two?" Bonnie gestured at the others that they could go on ahead.
"Uh, probably Eak since he's shorter." Towntrap answered.
"Wh-?! I bet I'm heavier than you!" Eak glared at his taller gang member.
"Who cares which one of you two is fatter? Just get on already." Fox left a bit of space on his skateboard to let Towntrap get on.
"I don't think it's very safe to go on a skateboard with two people......." Towntrap nervously muttered.
"Where's your sense of adventure, Carnal? I bet it'll be-AH!" Eak let out a scream as Bonnie suddenly started moving.
The movements the skateboard made were very rocky and it was clear that Bonnie had to do a lot of effort to get the two of them moving. Fox had it a little easier, but his movements were arguably nerve-wrecking as well.
"Ya sure you can handle this?" Eak was surprised Bonnie even managed to move the two of them for five feet.
"Yup! It's a good leg exercise!" Bonnie didn't seem out of breath whatsoever.
Huh, maybe that nerd was more athletic than he looked....... By the time the four of them finally got to the skating park, it was already fairly dark. At least for a summer night, it was.
