Eak tried to keep his eyes off of the beautiful sky above him. It wasn't too dark yet, judging by the pink and orange colors in the air. Chica had told him yesterday to meet up with the gang at the skating park around the time the guards were usually gone. Eak was happy to just hang out with his friends for now, considering that yesterday it had been very uncomfortable for him at home.

Federico desperately tried apologizing to him, but Eak just gave him the cold shoulder. He knew it was unfair towards his dad, but hearing her name after such a long time really made him feel sick. Eak snuck into the skating park and smiled in relief when he heard the sound of skateboards on cement and the familiar voices of his gang.

"You can't catch me, gay thoughts!" Eak heard Fox yell.

"Just you wait, man!" And there was Bonnie.

"Freddy, ride past me at that speed once again and I swear I'll throw your skates into the ocean!" Ah, Toddy was there too.

Wait, Toddy was there?? Eak reached the back of the park and the dark-skinned girl was indeed amongst the rest of his gang.

"Hey, Toddy! What're you doing here?" Eak energetically went to stand besides her.

He swore he just heard Toddy whisper 'Not him again' under her breath.

"I'm just hanging out with my friends. Why? Am I not allowed to do that?" Cold as ever, huh?

"Nah, I was just askin'." Eak casually replied.

"Wait, didn't you come here to discuss a problem?" Golden asked, skating over to the two of them.

Toddy looked at Golden as if he just threw her under a bus.

"No-"

"Actually, I'm pretty sure you are, Toddy~" Chica skated behind Toddy and lightly put her hands on the other's shoulders.

"Hey, guys! Gather around, Toddy's got a problem!" Golden waved the other gang members over.

"Doesn't she always have a problem?" Bonnie boldly commented as he joined the small group.

"I don't have to hear that from you, Bonnie." Toddy huffed at the smaller boy.

"So what's the problem?" Freddy curiously asked.

Towntrap went to stand next to Eak and quietly waved at the Mexican.

"Uh......my gang's in a bit of a sticky situation at the moment......" Eak was surprised to hear the usually overconfident girl so quiet all of a sudden.

"Want me to say it to them?" Chica nicely asked her BFF.

Toddy nodded a bit embarrassed.

"So basically Meg's fallen sick, and the Toys' concert is already tonight." Chica simply explained.

"Meg's sick?! Why didn't she text me?" Fox frowned in concern.

"You know how she is......" Toddy said with a shrug.

"So anyways, we're looking for a solution to the problem. Obviously they can't just cancel the concert two hours before the show. Any ideas?" Chica looked around at every single member.

"Can't Joy or Bon sing?" Fox spoke up.

"Terrible idea. They're both way too exhausted for that." Toddy shook her head in disapproval.

"Can't you sing?" Towntrap carefully suggested.

Toddy sighed and rubbed her temples.

"Rojas, there's a million things I can do but singing isn't one of them." Toddy nonchalantly confessed.
