Lisa's POV
I carried Jennie and rushed her to a nurse passing by the corridor outside. "Please help me get a doctor! My friend just fainted out of nowhere.. please be quick i don't know what happened to her..."
As soon as the nurse called for a doctor he brought her to another ward to check up on her. I sat down on the couch waiting impatiently, my heart was still beating fast.
After awhile the doctor took off the hearing piece from his stethoscope and strode towards me.
"Late evening to you, ive run a few check ups on your friend Ms Jennie Kim here, and her blood pressure is slightly above normal. I advise you to make sure that she does not involve herself in strenuous activities. Lastly, may i ask if you know if has she recently suffered from recurring headaches or migraines, or even an accident which involved her head?" The doctor asked inquisitively.
I shifted my foot nervously as i replied him. "Yes, a few days ago she was knocked down by someone at the skiing mountain and her head hit a flat rock. But she was brought to the hospital and the doctor said that she was fine, other than a minor bruise on the side of her head."
The doctor wrote down some quick notes as he listened, then he paused to ponder for a few moments before answering.
"Hmm... did the doctor say anything else?"
I jolted up in my seat as i recalled an important detail. "Actually yes. He said that Jennie was suffering from amnesia but it would only last a day. So after 24 hours she would not recall anything that had happened that day."
The doctor stopped writing and smiled. "Ahhh.. so this is the lady whom had that weird condition. Yes the doctors were all talking about it because we've never encountered such an occurrence, it was pretty bizarre my colleague was baffled by the brain scans. But anyway, from my experience i think it is safe to say that like any other cases of amnesia, the patients have a slight chance of regaining their memories. Sometimes just partially, sometimes entirely especially when they have been very memorable to them. The patient might experience sudden flashbacks or what they think are voices in their heads which are actually memories of the past incidents, which could be a blur and thus causing lightheadedness or headaches." He said calmly.
My heart skipped a beat as i heard this revelation. Jennie could remember... she could remember me..
"Miss?" The doctor called waving at me and i was suddenly aware of myself who was lost for words at the moment.
"O-Oh. I see... Th-that's great i guess.." I mumbled.
"Well if there isn't anything else, i'll take my leave. Remember about my advice earlier on about the blood pressure. Have a good rest." The doctor stated and left the room to attend to other patients.
I slumped back down on the couch, my thoughts were whirling through my head at a thousand miles per hour. No, don't think about it yet. For now i will have to focus on Jennie's health and also Jisoo.
I brought my phone out of my pocket and called Rosé, she has to know about Jisoo.
"Mhmhmmm...mmm- hello?"
What the?
"Yah! Chaeyoung-ah what the fuck are you doing?!" I shouted into the phone.
"I- Lisayah? I'm eating this amazing bowl of fruit salad i made for myself, why the heck are you shouting?!" Rosé replied as i heard the sound of crunching in the background.
Oh my god my dirty mind aishh.
"Hahahaha nothing. Glad to hear that you're eating something and not someone-" I laughed.
