I wake up feeling a bit glumly. Why was sweet pea so distant yesterday and why didn't he tell me about it. I'm his girlfriend he shouldn't close up and shut me out, but I'm not going to ask him about it.

I just lay in bed staring at the ceiling in the dark.
"Morning" sweet pea turns around and winds his arms around me. "What's with the sad face?"
"Everything's fine" I reply
"I see right through you, what are you thinking about" he stares into my eyes

Leaving out a sigh "what's troubling you? What happend yesterday that you where so distant" I pout a bit.
"We're going to war against the ghoulies about territory. And in my head is so much anger that I couldn't sleep last night but you being there did me good. I just don't want to get you in any trouble so please don't ask any questions about it"

Wow ok. I'm a serpent I feel like I should help I'm not a little girl but I don't want to fight so everything that escapes my mouth is an "alright".
Because the thought that keeps bothering me now is if he is going to get hurt.

I want to know so much more. When, where but he asked me to not question too much so I just keep quite and snuggle unto him. But I can't seem to keep my mind at ease. The ghoulies are back, and they want war over territory. What territory? The Southside?

~Monday spanish class

"Toni did you hear about the ghoulie thing?" I whisper
"Yeah. Dont you know about it?" She seems confused about my lack of information
"Well sweet pea wants me to stay out of this. So... fill me in" I smirk at her
"Ok so Jughead told me he wanted to deal with penny so that the 'war' could be cancelled"

"Why didn't he tell me?" I mean closer to her and she shrugs her shoulders innocently "when?" I want to know
"Idk"

"Chicas, dejad de hablar por favor" señora Vega looks at us. She is actually a cute small person with crazy curls on her head. "So os gusta tanto hablar, porque no me cuentas algo sobre la culpa en el libro"

Toni and I exchange looks and I notice that she didn't understand a word so I guess it's my turn to talk. She asked about the aspect of blame in the book we read. Crónica de una muerte anunciada. Cronicle of a death foretold. In my opinion it should be called crónica de una mierda anunciada. Because this book is literally shit.

The bell rings and stops me from talking. My luck because I didn't know what to say anymore. Moreover, I get saved by the bell a lot I realise. Anyway, school is over and I walk outside the doors where I meet Cheryl, Archie and Ronnie and we all head to pops. It's already getting dark when suddenly my phone rings.

"Hi B"
"Julia, where are You right now? Are you with jug?!" She sounds worried
"No, I'm at pops with arch, Ronnie and Cheryl"
"Jug called me and it sounded like he was saying goodbye for good"
"Omg" I whisper, my breathing gets harder and my eyes water up
"What's going on?" She sounds confused
"He's with the ghoulies trying to talk to them but-" I can't continue talking at the thought of what they're going to do with him.

"Guys, jug's in danger" I grab my coat and jump up. I explain to them what is going on while we head to the ghoulies hideout in Archies car.

"Fp?" My voice breaks
"Julia? Is everything alright?"
"Jughead is at the ghoulies trying to deal with them on his own. They-"
"Oh no" fp whispers. He hangs up and I k ow that he is coming with the others.

He must have gotten to their hideout faster than us because when we got out of the car the other serpents stand around the place. I run to sweet pea and fall into his arms "Why are you here?" He asks but betty cuts me off
"Where is jug?" Panicked

Fangs points to the woods "guys" where fp walks out with a badly beaten up Jughead in his arms. Fp flooded with tears, Jughead with blood.

Betty stares at him with big watery eyes and an open mouth but I can't move when all of a sudden...

"Well well well who do we have here?"
