"Yeah, yeah, you and Reggie..." I say flirty but she just shrugs her shoulders laughing "So it's settled" betty looks around "the 4 of us will spend a girls night at the bunker tonight"
It's not just the fact that the gargoyle king scared the shit out of me but also that I know that he-well tall boy- died in there. Nobody else knows about it. "We'll bring something to drink and movies" Cheryl excitedly.
The bell rings and we disperse, betty and I make our way to biology "Do you know where you want to study?" I question "I have a few interviews this week, I just hope it all goes well" "Come on, they'll love you. With your SAT and the internship you did this summer they have no other choice than make you a lawyer" I laugh
"Yeah, what about you? Have you even decided on what you want to study yet?" "No, I think about staying here, working at pops-" "Really? With your SAT score you'll be accepted everywhere" betty looks at me
"Uff, well I've always like biology-" I think "Great, what about medicine? You could become a doctor, just like your m..." she stops talking when I look at her confused "How Do you know my mom was a doctor"
"You told me" she tries to lie "No I didnt" I know I never talk about them that much "betty... did you-?" "Only a bit, I swear-" "Oh my god" I chuckle in disbelieve "I mean, why? I know you like playing Nancy drew but-"
"Don't be mad" she looks at me with her round puppy eyes, a bit desperate "I'm-Im not mad... just surprised" I try to stay calm, this is no reason to be mad right? "So tonight is still on?" She asks carefully "Sure" I can't help but feel deceived.

And make my way to that Damn bunker.
"Hello?" I shout while climbing down the ladder "Oh aren't Cheryl and Toni here yet?" I ask when I see betty sitting on the bed, alone. "Nop, she just texted that they will be late. Maybe an hour" "Woah, an hour? Why?" "I guess something with her mom, you know how she can be" "I sure do"
I sit down and we start talking about school, the serpents, Jughead... after 30 minutes I hear noises coming from the entrance. I get up from the bed and want to approach Choni "finally guys-" but I stop in shock when I see who is standing in the tunnel.
About 6 or 7 guys with leather jackets and gargoyle masks. The gargoyle gang. "Betty!" I whisper histerically when they start walking towards us. They take bettys arms pulling her up from the bed and when they come for me I try to throw a punch but they grab my arms and drag us outside.
We find ourselves in a place deeper in the forest, our hands tight up behind our backs. More gargoylegang members stand in a circle, in the middle a fire. They drag us right in front of a guy and throw us into the dirt.
"Why are we here? What do you want?" Betty hisses "You know what we want" one guy says crossing his arms "our king" Oh Lord, when they knew... "Geez, I told you this was a bad idea" I role my eyes.
"Great, a feisty one" the guy says annoyed "We don't know where your king is" betty explains "They took our king, we take their queen. And you better help us"
"But then why am I here?" I wonder hoping they'll just let me go lol. "Any time you are cheeky or don't give the answer we want" he is still talking to betty "she gets punished" pointing at me.
"You didn't plan on doing this in the first place" chills running down my spine "Wrong place wrong time, princess" the guy laughs, while another one steps into the light with a taser Fuck. "Betty, don't say anything" I whisper
"You are Jughead Jones girlfriend, right?" "No... I'm not" betty murmurs "Lie" the guy behind the mask notices and the other one steps closer putting the taster on my stomach. Not for long but it still hurts. "Agh!" I bend
"Ok no tell them the truth" i gasp "Oh god, yes I am" she panics "This is how this works" the guy satisfied "where is the gargoyle king?" "I-i don't know"
I get shocked and a scream escapes between my gritted teeth "I really don't know" bettys voice louder and more confident Another shock. I start breathing heavily.
"Jughead and the others caught him... but I don't know what happened with him afterwards" betty confesses "You think we dont know that? That won't get us anywhere" Once again electricity runs through my body and I plump down on the ground, but the guy pulls me back up. "Please" I hear betty crying from beside me, but I'm too exhausted.
Meanwhile in the bunker Cheryl and Toni arrived. "TT, we've been waiting for 30 minutes, I thought they were already here before us" Cheryl complains "Maybe they went to get something" Toni thinks "In the meantime" Cheryl steps closer to Toni "how about we spend some us-time" pulling in for a kiss and falling unto the bed.
