I stand with the vixens at midges funeral. Cheryl in the front singing 'you'll never walk alone' one of my favourite songs now feels depressing.
Midges gruesome murder had gutted the entire town. But soon after the funeral ended and midge was laid to rest the interrogation began.
Luckily, I wasn't involved in the musical because sheriff Keller questioned everyone.

With everyone still grieving and being questioned Veronica gathers us all around during break, excluding Julia.
"Ok as the good friend that I am I know that Julia's birthday is Saturday. I thought something like a surprise party. Not only for her but to brighten up the mood and planning will keep our heads of the black hood and midge. So what do you say?" Veronica chirps and crosses her legs.
"I know as a matter of facts that Julia doesn't like her birthday or at least doesnt celebrate it" I tell them
"Yeah she's like jones when it comes to her birthday" sweet pea adds and looks at me. We don't want to forget the party Veronica, betty and Archie threw for me. I role my eyes. "Yeah, why would you throw a party because your mother gave birth to you on coincidently this particular date" I explain
"Because of her parents?" Cheryl wants to know and Toni punches her in the side for her ignorant comment.
"I think a small party won't hurt her" betty raises her eyebrows and smiles her signature sweet betty smile.
"That's the spirit" veronica thanks her for the support "Ok so I thought you" she points at sweet pea "could bring her to the location around 6" "What location?" Toni wonders "I thought the whyte wyrm" fangs says irritated.
"Alright" veronica agrees a bit sad because she probably had thousands of ideas for a fancy hall or something.
"I'll be responsible for the food" Kevin raises his hand. "Perfect, B and I will get some decoration. Can you put a playlist of her favourite songs together?" She points at me and I nod.
"So the rest of you just has to keep their mouths shut" "Wait what about a present" Cheryl interrupts Veronica "Oh right"
Suddenly Julia walks in the room and everybody silences. A bit confused she walks over to sweet pea and sits down on his leg. "What's up guys" confused about the sudden silence.
"Nothing" Kevin shrugs his shoulders and Cheryl rolls her eyes at his bad acting skills.
"So we meet tomorrow after school?" Betty asks "What's tomorrow" Julia probably feels excluded and I feel bad for her. Everybody is keeping secrets from her for a party that she probably doesn't even want.
"A school project" Cheryl smiles and Julia nods suspiciously "I wanted to talk to you anyways. Now that midge isn't here anymore" she looks on the floor "there is a free spot in our team. What do you say about becoming a vixen?" Cheryl grins "Sure" Julia agrees with a light smile. "So we'll meet during lunch break in the gym and you show me what you got" Cheryl grins and Julia just nods.
Meanwhile betty anxiously looks around the room before unlocking her phone. When nobody is watching she opens the chat to read the message from an unknown number.
Betty this is my last warning. Your deadline ends this weekend. Her birthday. Break them up or somebody will die. -B.H.
The bell rings and betty quickly locks her phone, grabs her bag and leaves the room.
~lunch break at the gym
"Ok Julia, here we go" Cheryl shouts as she turns on yonce by Beyonce over the speaker.
I'm done and kinda out of breath, I've always liked dancing and music. Expressing feelings through your body... "I speak for all of us if I say" Cheryl approaches me "this was incredible" she hands me the vixens clothes "welcome"
The other girls come and congratulate me "I didn't know you could dance like this" betty admires me and I feel a bit weird having all the attention on me "Girl, that was hot" v grins at me "Awesome", "thanks topaz" I smile back
~Saturday morning Julias pov
I wake up realising what day it is. I don't hate my birthday I just don't see the point in celebrating it. Moreover I haven't done anything special on that day since my parents died. I turn around to look at my phone 9:38 maybe I should get up and make breakfast but before I can sit up straight I feel 2 warm hands around my waist pulling me down.
My back pressed against his chest he whispers in my ear "Morning princess, where'd you think you go?" I feel his hot breath against my neck before he showers me with kisses from my neck to my jar, turning me around and now placing them over my cheek to my lips. And I can't help but start smiling like an idiot.
I put my hands on his chest where I lay my head down to look up at his face. One hand resting behind his head the other one stroking my back with his thumb. "Happy birthday" he whispers with a small smile.
"Thanks" I murmur not knowing what to say. "What do you want to do today" he changes the topic. "Lay in bed all day" I yawn and he chuckles. So we lay there cuddling until my alarm goes off at 12.
"Ugh" I moan push myself off sweet pea and turn it of "Breakfast?" He raises an eyebrow. Don't need to ask me that twice so I run into the kitchen to make some pancakes.
"Can this just be a normal day, please?" I question as we eat. He tilts his head "It is just a normal day after all" I add and he nods continuing to eat his pancake.
All at once sweet peas phone buzzes and I raise my eyebrows waiting for an explanation. "Its fangs, Serpent meeting at 6 at the whyte wyrm"

It's 5:45 and I pester sweet pea to hurry up and get going. We park in front of the bar and get off the bike "Julia" sweet pea says with a low voice "Hmm?" "I love you. I dont tell you this enough but i love you, i need you. You deserve so much more than what i can give you but you make me happy just looking at you. I hate when you're hurt which you are way too often and ill try to protect you but-but sometimes I can't and I hate that. I felt you slipping away from me too often. but I can't loose you. I'm gonna hold on tight because I love you" his hands on my waist mine on his chest. I get on my toes to give him a kiss. He seems awfully nervous but returns quickly to his cool serpent self. He takes my hand and we walk up the stairs.
