Dream

"Baby, are you done yet?" James' knock on the door made us hurry fixing ourselves.

Tony's currently putting me on some blush on. I am wearing the long dress I have bought last time, its top is white laced and backless and the skirt has a touch of baby pink.For my hair, I just curled its ends and let it down.

"One final touch, babe!" Tony shouted and hand me my perfume.

"You look so gorgeous as ever, Yns. I'd never doubt if that ex of yours would be drooling over you."

Umirap ako sa kawalan nang marinig iyon sa kanya. Tinawanan lamang niya ko.

After that, we rushed over the sea side where the wedding ceremony is being held.

And sometimes, I just have to face all these stares and talks coming from some of our batchmates.

"Nagbalik na pala siya."

"She has the guts to show her face, huh?"

"Can you guys just move on already? It's been 8 long years."

"That pretty face is a slut."

The organizer signals and the ceremony has started.

I watched them all walking down the aisle and when it's time for the bride to walk the aisle, my gaze went to Aeron who's waiting patiently for Aisha to be with him. I witness how he stares and tear up as Aisha walks down the aisle.

My eyes also tear up and I couldn't help but notice the man beside Aeron. My heart stings when our gaze met. I noticed pain in his eyes before it turns cold. I look away as I couldn't stand it.

"You may now kiss the bride." Nagpalakpakan ang lahat matapos halikan ni Aeron si Aisha.

I'm happy for them but I just don't know why my heart is aching at the same time.

As the wedding ceremony has ended, people gather at the venue. I was walking when someone grab my wrist, when I turned around, it was Lana.

"Ate." I stopped breathing when I saw who's behind her.

"Yes, Lana?" Nag iwas ako ng tingin.

"We're at the same table." Lumunok ako nang marinig iyon.

"Okay." Muli akong tumalikod at di na inabalang magtapon ng tingin sa kuya niya na ramdam ko ang malamig na titig sa akin.

I wonder why he's so cold towards me when in fact, he should be feeling guilty because in the first place, he's the one who cheated! Kaya bakit?

"He choose to sit with us even they have a table for him, huh?" Said Tony who's currently grinning on me. Inirapan ko na lamang at hindi pinansin.

Nang makarating kami sa table namin ay kaming tatlo ni Jame ang magkakatabi at sa harap naman namin ay sila Lana. Well the seating arrangement made me feel conscious. Magkatapat lang naman kami!
