Your POV
The past three days up to my recovery have been some work. I was lucky Thor assisted me into taking my rest back to my apartment. The guy's unbelievably free of any external obstructions and chose to take extra care of me while I was 'bedridden' oftentimes, and I sometimes wonder if he's been doing too much already.
He's gone back and forth to check up on his brother and me, while making sure that I was devoid of any more pain in my body. Doesn't he have a duty in his home realm as well other than babysitting Loki and me?
He's been at it for a few days and I already feel much better thanks to him but at the same time, my heart faltered at his worrying. The big guy needed to rest from all the hustle.
Right after I recovered, Mr. Stark pushed my training through with Steve and Nat and boy, they certainly taught me a lot. It even led to the point where I would limp out with episodes of leg spasms. But they shaped me up good with all the combat styles and techniques. It took a while for me to learn given that I never had a background in combat and martial arts but I'm gradually learning, I just have to catch up with Natasha at most with all her back-breaking moves.
Loki's done much of his part as well. We got back on track and he's been quite an effective mentor through the days we've gone at it. He's become more cooperative and willing ever since we've restarted. Except that our small moments of bickering still remains prominent.
For the days we've trained, Thor had to accompany us to every single one to keep watch over his brother. There's this babysitting effect that's been happening between the three of us. Thor would watch over Loki and Loki over me- well, not in the way Thor does but still. I've mastered a whole lot with my abilities, thanks to the trickster prince's strategies when
it comes to training me.Yet in spite of the closeness that's built up in our sessions, I still hold that block of doubt for him. It's quite a little callous of me to say that I still don't trust him, but I can't let my guard down. God knows what's running in his mind.
We had to take a break today since
Thor had to go on a mission with the rest, emptying the penthouse completely.Right now, I know nothing about their whereabouts. Plus I haven't gone out a little ever since training began. I was always worn out every time we got back from the compound.
I can finally walk along the streets like a regular person now. I'm currently in the bookstore scouring for something good to read.
I find a classic and pull it out of it's place but stop as my phone rings from my pocket. I fish it out, checking the caller and well, it's Natasha. I swipe the answer button and her disembodied voice comes in through the line."Y/N? Y/N? Where are you?"
I leave my spot and head outside to get a better signal. "Book shopping, Nat."
"That's awesome. Anyway, I called 'cause your powers might really come in handy right about now."
"Wait, where are you guys? What's up? " I hear her talking to someone else on the line and goes back to me once she finished. "You're capable of detecting heat signatures from a certain radius, right?"
Detecting heat signatures?
If she's referring to the thing Loki and I experimented on during my first day
at the compound then I could say that I might be. But then it requires the both of us to be able to actually propagate at a great distance. And how does she know about it? It would only makes sense if Thor is with them right now since he's witnessed Loki and I practice.
He could be there.
