Second Person's POV

"You came back..." Your voice dwindles to a croaky whisper and as he races to get you out of the burning base, Loki looks down at you in regret and self-reproach. He steps out of the collapsed entrance and breathes out, keeping your clammy body close to his. "Forgive me."

You are unable to say more as you slip into unconsciousness. He draws you in tighter as he rushes away from the heat. Thor, who finished off the remaining cryos, emerges from the ruin that was once a steady building- covered in soot and smoke. He catches up to Loki who's boldly making his way to the rest of the Avengers with you cold in his arms.

Steve and Tony are still in shock from the explosion and Nat is going around sending orders to the agents to contact the fire department to extinguish the wildfire you've unintentionally started.

Still seething in anger towards his younger brother, Thor maintains the death glare he's obtained from what Loki has done and faces him with even sharper eyes. "After this, you are coming back to Asgard with me."

Loki, now obligated to do so, nods as a response. Steve sees the brothers approach them and almost immediately pulls off a smirk but his expression changes as he sees you out cold in Loki's arms. "What the hell happened to her?!" With his voice alerting the rest, Steve sprints towards Loki.

"Ice blast to the chest. Her body is unbelievably cold and I deem it's slowly killing her." Loki tries to keep a stern face in front of Steve and Tony follows up from behind, his eyes growing darker seeing Loki present all of a sudden. "Well, well. Look who showed- Y/N!" He doesn't finish his snappy remark as he lays eyes on your maimed body.

Tony cups your face with his free hand and his lips quiver at your deathly form. "She looks drained. JARVIS, what's her status?" With the hologram pulled up in his gauntlet, JARVIS runs a scan on your body and gives his report. "Sir, she's in a coma. She has suffered from severe blood loss and has gone into hypovolemic shock."

Tony finally gets the idea that you've been drained of a lot of blood. "How much did she lose?" Loki's eyes squint out of the fear of losing you and JARVIS answers. "Thirty-five percent sir."

"Holy shit." Tony cusses underneath his breath, shaking his head at how badly you've suffered. "She should be taken to a hospital and fast."

Loki protests a little and earns an on-point gloom from both Steve and Tony, yet he ignores their looks nevertheless. "She needs to be taken to Asgard."

"Why?" Tony interrogates and Thor steps in, crossing his arms with his hammer in his grip. "To heal. I hate to admit it but my brother's right. Her heart is nearly frozen and I doubt Midgardian medicine is going to save her."

Tony ruminates on it and so does Steve, the two eventually coming to a decision. "If modern medicine can't save her then fine. But," Tony sharply holds out a finger at Loki, "until we take Strucker down, keep her there. It was a good thing she blew up the base 'cause HYDRA would've gotten what they needed."

"Agreed. We'll take care of her." Thor subtly eyes Loki who's trying to hide his disappointment, considering that he won't be able to truly be by your side since what's waiting for him on Asgard is inevitable.

Thor pats Steve and Tony's backs, wishing them good luck before letting Loki face them. Tony hands him a look of scrutiny and purses his lips at him. "You suddenly came back."

Loki sighs and looks away. "Seeing her hurt did it for me."

"You really do love her, don't you?" Steve eyes Loki strictly and he nods slowly. "You won't worry about me being with her though. There is something on Asgard that will physically separate us both."
