A/N Guys, I am so sorry but I had trouble composing the conflict. I do hope you guys don't mind and though you may question it, do go on with the story xD.

Second Person's POV

He's become more withdrawn than ever. Squatting in his glass cell like he's just waiting for someone to bust into the door. Anyone.

Especially you.

No one has gone into that room to check up on him for a span of what seemed like days, not even his older brother who used to frequently visit but is now too preoccupied with distinct matters. He hasn't eaten in a couple of days but isn't entirely affected by it due to his physiology.

Sure he tries to take his mind off of the painful anticipation by reading the books Thor had fetched for him but the seclusion is driving him insane. Alas he can't do anything but wait. Although he could very much try to escape, but most likely fail, he couldn't. After all, he made you a promise; that he wouldn't try to run away.

"For her." Loki breathes out weakly.

"Just for her."

You get up and tell Bruce that Tony had urged you to get home this instance because of some emergency. The tone of his text sounded like it. He nods and offers to drive you back.

Moments later, you arrive in front of your apartment. You and Bruce climb out of his car and enter the lobby, taking the stairs up to the second floor. Once you reach the level, you instantly find Tony leaning back and tapping his foot restlessly against your door.

He sees you in his peripheral vision and fixes his posture. "Great you're here and hey Bruce." Bruce waves back and you ask him what's so important that you had to get home this quickly.

"Kid. I tried buzzing your intercom, but it seemed jammed and so I came by to check it yet when I opened the door, " he pauses, grabbing the door knob and twisting it open, slowly revealing a frost covered quarter with vapor emanating from inside.

You gasp loudly and drop your bag at the sight of your room entirely covered in solid frost and ice. Although you're capable of doing away with it, the amount of condensation from the ice is high enough to deplete you of your powers for hours. You stand away from the mist, balling your fist at the work of those cryos.

"I knew it." You mumble, your lips quivering.

"What? And you didn't bother to tell me or any of us?" Tony grills and you shrug in your defense. "It started out as a window print at first, a small deal. Plus you were asleep that night."

"It was a very big deal and I wouldn't mind waking up to you yelling about it cause your safety is on the line here!"

"I forgot, okay?!"

"That's not a very good excuse, kid."

"Hey! " Bruce's voice interrupts your little argument and you both face him with wide eyes.

He gestures to your freezer-like room. "We got something important here." You crack your knuckles and outstretch your arm out in the frigid mist, glowering into the cold prints left by those cryos. Slowly, you fold your fingers in, the heat you're projecting from your hand thawing the ice completely and leaving nothing else but steaming water. You turn to Bruce and Tony with a deadpan. "That's taken care of now."

"I'll be sure to install more security cameras around the shadowed parts of the building," Tony says in a rigid tone, resting his hands on his hips. You nod and grab your bag from the floor, preparing to enter the room. But before you can take a step in, Tony lands a hand on your shoulder with his thick brows furrowed together. "Lock everything, alright? Until we take them down."
