Second Person's POV

You and Thor whip your heads to the source of that soft-spoken voice and find a woman with blonde, braided hair in a white dress woven with intricate patterns standing in the open doorway.

Thor's eyes light up and he runs to the woman, being his mother, Frigga. "Mother!" He gleefully exclaims and embraces her lovingly. "Thor, my son. How have you been, dear?" She fondles his cheeks ever so dearly.

"I'm doing pretty well, mother. What about you?"

"Just so, my son." She then turns her delicate gaze to you and that gets you ultimately comfortable. "Hello darling. What is your name?" She asks in an effortlessly gentle manner and it compels you to answer with a full smile. But you realize that she's the queen and you make a slightly practical choice of bowing as you reply. "Y/N L/N, your highness. It's an honor to meet you."

She approaches you and lays her warm hands on your shoulder, reassuring you of the pressure. "Please, dear. Call me Frigga."

It's no question Loki adores his mother greatly, she's unequally wonderful. You think twice before agreeing to it, hoping it would feel more appropriate for her. "If you wish, your hi- Frigga."

She giggles at your stammering and cups your cheek. "If it's not too much to say but I might have overheard your talk with Thor and I apologize for that."

"Oh no, please. It's alright." You assure her but at the same time, gradually look down on the floor. Frigga notices your downcast gaze and tenderly lifts your chin up with her finger. "Dear one, I'm glad my son, Loki, has found love
with you."

You lift your head up slowly to meet her motherly gaze. She smiles at you warmly. "You know, I gave that necklace to him when he was younger, telling him that if his heart skips a beat for a very long time around a particular girl, he'll give her that." The look on her face is that of a mother that has finally seen her child achieve something grand in his life.

And that life achievement of Loki is you.

She leads you to sit down on the edge of the bed to talk. "And for centuries he never found one worthy of the necklace until you."

"I must say your son was and is a tad stubborn."

She giggles softly and takes your hands in her soft ones, giving your knuckles a light brush with her thumbs. "He is indeed but he's an amazing man. Despite all the wrong he's done." Frigga's voice breaks, looking as if she's reeling from Loki's unfortune. She misses him greatly.

Your heart breaks for his mother. "How is he doing on Midgard, my dear? "

You chew on your bottom lip before answering. "He's doing alright. Still imprisoned but he's fine."

She flicks a stray tear from the corner of her eye and recovers with a smile, one not out of sadness. "Of course he would be. He has you."

"He misses you immensely, though. There's nothing he wouldn't do to return home to you."

"I feel like he's becoming the Loki I once knew with you in his life."

Her compliment makes a blush grow rapidly on your face. "You raised two, wonderful men, your highness." You turn to Thor who's just leaning and watching you and his mother engage in deep conversation from the doorway, a steady smile evident on his face.

"Thank you, darling. Now my son had promised you a tour around the palace, correct?"

You nod happily. She gives you another smile and beckons Thor over. He comes over with brows perked up. "Dear, keep her safe as you roam, alright?"
