Second Person's POV
The men in white coats hook you up to two, additional IV tubes that will serve to transport your blood into the tank they're going to contain it in. They've taken Willow out to God knows where inside the base and you silently pray that they haven't done anything bad to her.
As the scientists, as what you've made them out to be, prepare to purge you clean of life- Strucker enters the room once more and sighs as he takes in your vulnerability. "Heard you've nearly handled your undeserved abilities well. Don't worry," he tips your head back with his finger, "I'll save you the hassle."
You glower at him weakly and he walks out of the room, ordering the scientists to keep you down and completely immobile. You close your eyes and prepare for the worst, knowing that your attempts to live would be jeopardized any minute.
You hear the machine behind you go off and the second you realize, you're being slowly drained of your blood. Every drop lost turns you physically frail and blanched.
As you suffer below, an assemblage of quinjets soars high above to come to your rescue, comprised of the Avengers and SHIELD agents.
Nick has ordered an aerial strike prior to ground resistance to minimize the casualties between his men. Inside the lead quinjet are the Avengers preparing to act upon their plan.
You slowly feel yourself slipping to unconsciousness from the amount of blood that's being drawn from you. They really weren't going to let you live since they wanted every drop of blood in your body. With the little hope you have left, you either wait for death to finally embrace you or the back up you desperately needed.
You try to project your heat in hopes that it would at least loosen the bind around you. But to your dismay, it doesn't. The amount of blood in your body is rapidly downsizing and so are your powers- especially your life.
A scientist brushes by you and takes a second look at you. You stare at him timidly and he turns away from immediately, avoiding eye contact with you. You take in what you think would be your last breath and let the tears fall from your eyes.
Regardless of the unlikelihood of the situation, you're still missing him.
Loki.
As you begin closing your eyes, a seemingly distant yet earth-shattering boom goes off and you quickly lift your head up. The scientists in the room start quavering at the sound and just as they are about to hasten their work to drain you of your blood, an explosion takes place just outside the room and shatters the walls of the place setting fire on either side of the room.
You lower your head and clench your fists as debris flings across the place from the sudden burst. You wonder what caused that, fidgeting in your restraints with the remaining energy you have left in you.
The realization of Willow being kept somewhere in the base and getting affected by the blast increases your determination to get out of the binds.
"Stop struggling!" One of the scientists orders but you ignore his demand and continue struggling with the intention of saving Willow. He grabs you by the shoulders to force you to stop, an action he will regret as you project enough heat from your body to scorch his palms.
He screams in pain and looks angrily at you. You return the favor with a weak yet devious smirk, provoking him to pick up the pace of draining your blood.
The explosion was actually first of the aerial strike. One of the quinjets has already dropped another bomb just right above the roof of the base, creating an entrance for them to infiltrate into. The bomb goes off and with the gaping hole in the roof, Steve and Tony prepare to engage.
