Second Person's POV
As you keep the cryos trapped inside the wall of fire you raised, Clint leads the hostages out of the battleground and down another flight of stairs. Before leaving with them, he turns to you and yells. "Will you be okay?"
You nod, setting up a dauntless poise. "Someone's gotta hold them off!"
"Be careful! Burn the entire floor if you have to!" He gives you a salute and leaves to guide the victims out. You are left on the floor to deal with your antipodes and decide to bring the wall down to take them down yourself.
You've remembered everything you've learned with Loki anyway and...you could really use the secret love of your life right now in battling these cryos.
You shake your head and save the romantic thoughts for later, focusing on what's before you. As the wall disappears, you find them on their knees trying their hardest to regenerate the cold lost from the literal hell you've put them in.
"Is this another set up? To get me to come?" You ask fiercely and one of them coughs, chuckling slyly. "Not quite. We just needed more of us to disable you completely." They get up on their feet in a tipsy manner and the frost lost from their arms reappear.
"But since you're here, alone, it would merely take the three of us to finish the job." They smile at you wickedly, icicles forming and coating their hands. You, on the other hand, notice gas pipes running just above them. A smirk turns up on your lips as you let them take longer strides towards you.
You don't have a knife or a gun or anything sharp in your belt except the icicles in their hands which would require a lot of effort to use against them but then you have to at least try.
"I dare you." You challenge them and provoke two of them to lunge at you with the icicles. You take a huge leap in the air to dodge it and forcefully land on their weapons, breaking them in half. You quickly snatch the broken half with the pointed tip from the floor and throw it at the gas pipe above them, puncturing it and making it leak heavily over them.
Their eyes widen as you shoot a tiny, fiery bullet at them, instantly setting them aflame. You then race down the flight of stairs as the open gas leak with the cryos in flames could set off an immediate explosion anytime now. Plus the explosives planted somewhere in the building could double the reaction.
And as you make your way through the flight of stairs that leads to the 7th floor, you hear mutiple booms go off from the higher levels and feel the temperature rise at an alarming rate. You pick up your pace as fire from the 9th floor explosion races after you through three more floors. You silently pray Clint and the hostages have made it out alive.
While bolting down the remaining floor levels and trying to escape the explosion, a voice comes in your earpiece. "Y/N! Y/N! Are you there?! Where are you?! "
It's Tony and you can't answer as you're in the middle of surviving a massive chain reaction of explosions.
You just had to listen to Clint like his last minute suggestion could have saved you when it's doing the contrary. Reaching the third floor, you find both the elevator and the stairs blocked. With hell fire on your tail, you desperately try to find another way out of the lingering smoke and heat. You're a fire wielder but flames that aren't your own still kill you, especially now that you're trapped in the third floor with no way out except the...window. Except that it's a thick, frosted pane with no gaps or openings at all.
You look out the glass and find police cars, ambulances and two firetrucks on standby, plus a whole lot of people crowding the area. You huff and attempt to break it with kicks. You try blasting it with the force you got left but it's still not working. There isn't even a fire extinguisher nearby to use and you're running out of options.
