Outreach

It has been a busy day yesterday, third day pa lang of the week but it feels like I am exhausted. Iniiwasan ko si Glai dahil sa pagtapik nya sa butt ko nung nasa Cafe Alfredo kami for lunch. Bianca was the one who attended all of the meetings para sa department, I focused on the upcoming launch of my projects sa Central. But today as I made my way to the outreach site, I steeled myself. Dahil tiyak kong andito si Glai. Hindi na sana ako pupunta but because this was my idea ayaw ko naman masabihan na nagiinarte ako. Nag-commute lang ako going to the site.

Nasa Brgy. 514 na ako, natanaw ko na ang Tarpaulin na naka-sabit sa isang booth. May iilan nang tao na nagseset-up. Mamaya pa namang 9 AM ang simula ng outreach. 8 AM pa lang. Si Lovi Poe ang President ng Nursing Department ay andito na, ganun din ang President ng Deparment of Medicine si Bj Pascual. I smiled at them. Si Lovi lang ang pinaka-close ko because we are friends, kabarkada namin nina Solenn at Bianca.

"Bae!" Lovi greeted me with a hug.

"Bae!" I greeted her back.

She is one of my woman crushes, she knows about it and she's so cool with it. She later admitted to having a crush on me as well.

"You were so busy daw kahapon according to Bianca. How's central?" She asked me.

"It's fine. Yeah medyo busy nga kahapon kaya si Bianca na lang ang pinahold ko ng meeting with you guys."

"I thought you'd never come." She said smiling.

"Andito crush ko, so malamang I wouldn't miss this for the world." I said to her.

"Bolera ka talaga Howell." She said laughing.

"Bummed nga ako kahapon, di kasi ako nakasilay sayo."

"Ay naku Howell, nagpa-ganda pa ako kahapon waley ka din naman pala." She said laughing.

"Ay, sayang. Bad decision talaga yung kahapon." I said laughing.

Naka-college shirt lang kami at jeans today. Lovi looked lovely in her Nursing College Shirt and Jeans. Kahit ano talaga ang suot nya, maganda pa din siya.

"Ikaw lang eh." She said flirtatiously as she fixes her stethoscope and her clipboard.

Napa-iling na lang ako sa kanya and started to look for people from Psychology Department.

"Nasan si Bianca?" I asked Lovi.

"Wala pa siya, Bae." She answered me.

Nagulat na lang ako ng may biglang humawak sa waist ko.

"Good morning Rhian." Glaiza said as she hands me a cup of coffee.

"Good morning din, Glai." I said to her.

"Oh, kape mo." She said smiling.

"Ay, salamat." I said as I reached for the cup.

"Sige, maiwan muna kita." She smiled as she walked past me and Lovi.

"Wow, Glaiza Galura huh?" Lovi said smiling.

"Hey, hindi ah." I said to her as I took a sip of my coffee.

"Sus! Hindi daw pero may pakape pa."
"Gaga, hindi nga. Ewan ko dyan bakit dinalan nanaman ako ng kape." I said to her.

"Nanaman? So it's not the first time?" Lovi's eyes widened upon hearing.

"Yes, the other times we went out for coffee or naubutan nya ako sa Alfredo's. I was with Bianca half the time." I told her.

"I think she likes you bae." She said teasingly

"Pareho kayo ni Bianca." I said laughing.

"Kasi nga amoy namin." She said laughing.

"Painom nga ako ng pakape ni Mayora."
