Entering Rehab

Today is Sunday, I personally drove Bianca and her family to the Rehab Facility in Taytay Rizal, where she will be completing an intensive two-month program to recover from a fatal drug habit she developed. Counseling and helping them to cope emotionally and rewiring their responses to stressful situations are some of the things the facility boasts of and a bragging right for 90% success rate among patients who got treated in the facility. 

Bianca and I rode in my Fortuner as her Family rode in her Montero Sport. Glaiza was the one driving us. I sat upfront as Glai drove my car. It was Glai and Bianca ang nagkukwentohan sa ngayon. I watched as they laugh at things Bianca missed over the last 5 years.

"Ganyan talaga yan si Rhian, weirdo din yan kung minsan. Salamat for making my best friend the happiest she's ever been. Alagaan mo siya ha?" Bilin ni Bianca kay Glaiza.

"Wag ka mag-alala Biancs, aalagaan ko si Rhian, hindi ko yan papabayaan. Diba love?" Glai smiled at me.

"Oo naman, Bianca. Ang takot lang neto ni Glai na saktan ako." I said laughing.

"Ikaw naman B- erm Rhian, wag kang mapanakit dito kay Galura, konti na lang ang ganyan, baka iwan ka nyan." Bianca said laughing.

"I won't let this one go, B." I said smiling. 

"Thank you to the both of you, ikaw na bahala kay Sam muna." Bianca said to me. 

"Yes, B. Don't worry." I replied to her. 

Maya-maya pa after an hour of driving we reached Taytay, Rizal nasa dulo ng Mary Hill ang rehab facility. The facility has maximum security, very secured and the environment is relaxing. Tila bahay bakasyunan lang ang facility namin na ito at the receiving area, Bianca said goodbye to her family. Hugging each and every one of them.

She approached me right after she tearfully hugged her parents and her sister. I obliged her with a tight hug. I kissed the top of her head and pulled away from the hug. I wiped her tear stained cheeks as I speak to her.

"Get better soon, B. We'll visit you naman every week. Focus ka lang sa pag-galing mo ha?" I said to her.

"Thank, Rhian." She said as she straightened herself.

"Glai, take care of Rhian and yourself. Thank you for loving her uncondiotionally." She said to Glai.

"Don't worry, Biancs. I will take care of her, magfocus ka sa pag-galing mo." Glai answered her.

"I will." She replied.

Then the staff took her bags in and ushered her into her room. Tito Pa and Tita Ma watched as their eldest daughter walked away from them. She looks at us one last time and waived goodbye to us.

Tito and Tita had to stay, to talk to the staff as they will be briefed with the details of Bianca's stay. While Glai, Sam and I decided to have lunch and go to the arcade after. We drove to the nearby SM Taytay and had lunch at Zark's Burger.

"Baby, what do you want to eat?" I asked Sam.

"Ultimate please." Sam answered.

"Great, favorite din namin ng Ate Glaiza mo yan." I smiled.

"Ate Rhian, Ate Glai do you think Ate Bianca will get better?" Sam asked us.

"Of course she will get better Sam." I replied.

"Strong si Ate Bianca mo Sam, mag-papagaling yun. Wag ka mag-alala." Glai said to Sam.

"Thank you Ate Glai. I worry about Ate, especially when Papa bullies her or underestimates her." Sam admitted.
