Christmas Puppy

It was December 25, dumating na si Glai at ang pamilya nito sa bahay at around 11:30 a.m. sakto at nag-hahanda na si Mommy at ang mga maids namin ng pagkain para sa lunch.

"Mahal, halika, I have a gift for you, nasa Garden." Glai said as she pulled me to the Garden.

"Okay, okay. I'm coming." I said to her.

"Close your eyes please." She said to me. 

"Aysh! Bakit pa lab?" I asked her. 

"Basta, close your eyes." She said as she puts me in an eye mask.

I can't see anything at this point, everything went dark, I suddenly felt her lead me to the Garden. I let her lead me out the garden. 

"Lab ha? Ayusin mo tong surprise mo, kundi talaga tatamaan ka sakin." I warned her. 

"Mahal naman, pinaghirapan ko to tas tatamaan ako pag di mo nagustuhan? Parang ayaw ko na ata ipakita sayo." She said na may himig ng pagtatampo. 

"Lab, joke lang. Of course I love you and I love everything that you do for me so sure ako na love ko din itong surprise mo." I said to her. 

"Alright mahal at the count of three you may remove your blind fold. One... Two... Three." She said.

I removed my blindfold and found her standing in front of me, holding up a Golden Retriever Puppy for me. 

"Merry Christmas Mahal!" She greeted me as she hands me the puppy. 

"This is for me?" I asked. 

"Yes, mahal. Ayaw mo ba?" She pouted at me. 

"No. I mean no, I want him. Thank you lablab." I said and hugged her.

I pulled away briefly and cuddled the puppy. 

"I'll name you Tadhana Howell - Galura." I said smiling at the puppy.

"Wow mahal, hyphenated pa ang last name nya ha. Sosyal, ikaw na Tadhana." Glai said laughing.

"Omg, lablab. Thank you for this cute puppy. Nahihiya na tuloy ako sa gift ko sayo." I said to her. 

"Naku mahal, kahit ano pa yan, I'm sure I'll love it because it's from you." She said.

"Wait here. I'll go get your gift." I said to her. 

I made my way to my room to get her gift, it was an electric guitar that she kept on eyeing when ever we went at the mall, the look of longing on her face when ever she sees it. It was a black Fender Jaguar electric guitar with a red accent on the center. It was a beauty to behold, I must admit. Super pogi ni Glaiza, I imagine her on stage playing it and charming thousands of people. A girl could dream right? Binuhat ko na ang gift ko sa kanyaat ibinaba ito sa garden, nakabox pa siya so hindi halata na gitara siya. 

"Ito na gift ko sayo, lab." I said to her. 

Her eyes widened dahil ang laki ng box ng gift ko sa kanya.

"Mahal, ang laki naman nito." She said.

"Wala yan lab, maliit na bagay lang yan kumpara kay Tadhana." I smiled at her. 

"Ano to mahal?" She asked me. 

"Open it to find out lab." I smiled at her. 

She tears through the wrapping paper and it revealed her Christmas Gift from me. Her eyes lit up as she saw it was the Fender Jaguar guitar she's been eyeing when ever lumalabas kami.

"Mahal? Totoo ba to?" She said asking as she tore through the last of the wrap and started to open the box. 

"Mmmhmmm. Matagal mo nang tinitignan yan, simula nung manligaw ka sa akin, lagi ko napapansin na tinitignan mo yan. I asked Angelica and she confirmed that you were indeed looking at that guitar." I said to her.
