Hidden Desire

First Meeting

Rhian's POV:

It was Thursday at naka-schedule kaming magmeeting early in the morning. Dahil ang iba sa amin hindi pwede ng hapon dahil may klase sila. Nasa campus na ako, I just got out of my car. A black Toyota Fortuner which mom and dad gave me for my 18th birthday last year. I walked to the office kung saan kami magmemeeting. Wala pang tao sa labas. Kaya dumirecho na ako sa loob. It stunned me to hear Glaiza playing her guitar, naka-upo ito sa isa sa mga tables na andun.

She looked up, but continued to play her guitar. A smile was etched on her face. Presko, I thought to myself as she continued playing her guitar. She eventually stopped playing her guitar and set it down on the table.

"Want some coffee?" She asked me.

"Okay lang." I said as I handed her money to buy us coffee.

"Ouch naman, Miss President. Anong akala mo sa akin? P.A. mo? VP mo ako for external affairs, I can buy you coffee you know?" She said.

"Alright. I'm sorry." I smiled weakly at her.

"Si Bianca ba nagkakape din?" She asked me.

"Yeah, hers is Flat white and I drink Black Coffee, no cream or sugar."

"Ok, I'll be right back." She said and left.

A few minutes had passed, wala pa ding tao sa office. Dumating na si Glaiza dala ang tatlong tall paper cups. She sets the two cups down my table and got hers.

"Bilis mo ha?" I said to her.

"Hahahaha! Ako pa ba? So, ano pala ang mga gagawin natin?" She said.

"Uhm, okay. This meeting is just to get to know you guys, since kayo naman ang mga first time namin makakatrabaho." I said to her.

"Okay, I look forward to working with you Rhian." She smiled as she extends her hand for a shake.

I shook her hands and spoke.

"Me too, Glaiza. Thank you for the coffee." I smiled at her.

"Walang ano man, Rhian." She smiled back at me. 

She takes her coffee with her back to her seat which was adjacent to my table. She sits down and takes a sip of her coffee. A few more minutes, people started to arrive in the office. I was creating an outline of the meeting, the things we needed to discuss. Bianca arrived, she smiled and waved at Glaiza.

"Girl, I was late. So sorry. Mom asked me to drop off my little sister sa school nila." 

"It's okay B. Coffee oh, bigay ni Glaiza." I said as I handed her the cup of steaming hot coffee. 

"Uy, thanks co-veep!" Bianca smiled at her. 

"Wala yun, Bianca." She said.

I was still writing on the pieces of paper, lahat sila nag-gogood morning sa isa't-isa. When everybody became so rowdy and noisy, alam kong kumpleto na ang mga officers sa room. I cleared my throat and began to speak loudly.

"Alright, I suppose everyone is here na right?" I said.

Everyone of them nodded, ang partido Cinta tahimik na, habang yung mga kapartido ni Glaiza nagdadaldalan pa din. Glaiza noticed the irritation in my eyes, so siya na ang sumaway sa mga kapartido nya.

"Hey, guys. Quiet! Mamaya na yang chikahan niyo. We have a meeting oh." Glaiza said.

"Thank you Glaiza." I responded and paused.

"So, dahil magkakakilala na kami ng mga kapartido ko, we want to know who you guys are. Can you please start us off with the introductions, Glaiza?" I said to her.
