Renewed Friendship

Bianca and I have renewed our friendship over the past month. We've been going out like the old times, mostly after work. Minsan kaming dalawa lang at minsan kasama si Glaiza. Just having fun and making up for time we lost in those 5 years we haven't spoken to each other. Masaya naman ako because it was like we never got lost along the way, we easily picked up where we left off, she adores Tadhana my baby golden retriever na regalo sa akin ni Glaiza. I still haven't proposed to Glaiza, I am still hesitant in making my move. I prayed to God to give me the strength to finally pop the question to her. Tonight though, Bianca and I are going on a girl's night out alam namin ni Glaiza that I wanted to go out with Bianca like how we used to just us. Glaiza was gracious to allow me to bond with my best friend Bianca. 

Bianca was the one driving her new Ford Everest, she has since upgraded to this vehicle. We were on our way to Subic to spend a weekend like how we used to as best friends. I missed having her around as well as taking road trips to where ever we think of going, not having to worry about things. The same carefree things we did when we were younger. It feels good to have Bianca finally back to her normal self. I was seated at the front passenger seat while Sam sat at the back texting her boyfriend.

"Sam, sino ba yang katext mo?" Bianca asked her sister.

"Uhm, classmate ko po." Sam answered.

"Ikaw ah? Napapadalas na pagtetext mo, tapos lagi ka nang nagsisikreto kay Ate." Bianca complained.

"Ate, I have something to tell you actually." Sam said.

"What is it?" Bianca asked Sam.

"Promise me you won't tell Mama and Papa, also you won't get mad." Sam said.

"Ay naku Sam!" Bianca said.

"Ate, promise me muna!"

"Okay, okay. I promise not to tell Mama and Papa also I'm not going to be mad." Bianca said.

"Uhm, ate. I have a boyfriend na po. His name is Vincent Daniel Gosingco, classmate ko po. We've been dating for almost a month." Sam said to her Ate Bianca.

"What?! Sam?!" Bianca pulled over to the side and faced her little sister.

"Ate..." Sam said worriedly.

"Bianca, cool ka lang. Hindi gagawa ng kagagahan si Sam." I reminded B.

"No, Rhian. I'm not mad at Sam." Bianca said as she faced her little sister.

"Baby, listen to Ate. I will support you always and I am happy na may boyfriend ka na." Bianca said smiling.

"Promise Ate?" Sam said.

"Yes, I promise baby. Now when are you bringing him home?" Bianca asked Sam.

"Sa 22 po." Sam answered.

"What's his name?" Bianca asked.

"Vincent Daniel Gosingco." Sam said.

"Chinese?" Bianca's eyes widened.

"Yes po Ate, kaya nga I am being careful. Kaya hindi ko ibibigay sa kanya ang VCard ko, ano tas iiwan nya ako pag nagbunga? Wais ako ate." Sam said laughing.

"Good and you tell me if ever he forces you, I'll hunt him to his death." Bianca threatened.

"I will kill him myself Ate, don't worry. I'm not a baby anymore Ate." Sam replied.

"No, you are still my baby sister. Any one who hurts you will be hunted down by Ate." Bianca said chuckling.

"Aish! Ate! Magdrive ka na lang please so we can get to subic na." Sam said chuckling.

"Okay, but promise me Sam, you'll introduce him na sa 22 ha?" Bianca said as she continued to drive.

"Yes ate." Sam smiled at her.

An hour passed and we reached Subic, we will be staying at Camayan Beach resort. We got a villa by the shore Sam ran to the shore as Bianca and I walked with our bags in tow. We watched as she ran through the shore, twirling and hopping from time to time. Naka-ngiti lang si Bianca as she watched Sam run. 

"I wish I could be like Sam. Walang problema kela Mama at Papa." Bianca sighed. 

"B, you can naman. Just be positive and please no more of the drugs and alcohol ha? It's a lethal combination. Don't ever do that again." I warned her. 

"I am trying Rhian." She smiled weakly at me. 

We walked into our villa and left our bags in there, we went to the shore and watched as Sam took off to the water. Bianca and I sat and smiled at the view before us. 

"B, I just want you to know that you are and always will be my best friend. Gusto ko sanang palayain ka na, wag nang ipilit ang pagmamahal na meron ka sa akin at ang pagmamahal na meron ako sayo. It's time we buried everything, I hope you find your happiness, whether it's with another man or woman. I will and always be your best friend. Please know that I won't stop loving you as my best friend. Hanggang dyan na lang, kase ayaw kong mamili ka pa." I said to her with out really looking at her.

"Rhian, I've waited all these time for you to say you love me, I knew in a heart beat that I would choose you. Pero I know it's too late, si Glaiza na ang mahal mo. Masaya ka na. Salamat for telling me anyway. Salamat at isinalba mo ako kela Papa, salamat at kahit sa huling pagkakataon iniisip mo pa din ang sitwasyon ko at kung anong sasabihin nila Papa. Salamat sa wagas mong pagmamahal, hindi man tama ang circumstances natin, I will find you in the next life we live and then I will love you and you will too." Bianca said.

See, I don't believe in those next life and reincarnation stuff, it was Bianca's romantic side talking. I believe that we only live once and that fate would bring you all kinds of love, until you find the right one for you. I nodded anyway to her and pulled her in for a hug.

"Salamat din B." I whispered to her.

We spent the day eating barbeques, having beers and swimming in the sea. Just having fun and celebrating our new and improved friendship. Minsan kailangan nating i-let go ang mga taong mahal natin, hindi dahil natatakot tayong makasakit, kundi dahil tinanggap mong iba ang pamilya nya, you both will never work out have you both tried. I could only hope that Bianca really understood where I came from and why I can't be with her. Masakit man, pero mas mabuti nang magtapos kami bilang magkaibigan pa din.

I watched her through out the day and can't help myself but get teary eyed, I love Bianca so much that I will set her free for her family not to disown her. Pero kung sakali mang mabuhay kami ulit sa susunod na buhay namin, I know in my heart that I would still love her. For now, I have to let her go and focus on my life and what's next for me.

My heart whispered one final time as we slept beside each other like how we used to.

"I love you babe."

7 to go my dear readers, I may vary in writing chapters, this one is shorter compared to the other chapters. As I don't have any more ideas at sa totoo lang, wala na akong gana magsulat. Siguro pagod lang ako.
