It was Wednesday morning when Glai arrived at my House in Q.C. we had breakfast with my Family. Glai sat beside me looking confident as she is. Very Charming ito wearing her Red and Black Polo Shirt, naka-cut off shorts na kulay khaki at naka-vans na slip ons ito.

She smiled at Mom and Dad the moment we walked into the dining area. Nagmano ito kela mom and dad.

"Tito, Tita. Good morning po." Glai said.

"Glaiza, hija. Andito ka pala." Mom greeted Glai.

"Upo ka Hija." Dad said.

"What are you kids up to Today?" Dad greeted us both.

"We'll go to Clark for a practice race." I answered.

"Can I come?" Ate Nadine said smiling.

"Yes, Ate." I answered.

"Okay, mag-ingat kayo mga anak. Your Father and I will be at the Hospital." Mom said.

"Sure Mom." I smiled.

"Oh and Hija, when are you bringing your family over?" Dad asked Glai.

"Anytime that you and Tita are free po." Glai said.

"We can arrange a Family lunch on Christmas Day." Dad smiled.

"Sounds good po Tito." Glai smiled at Dad.

"Mabuti naman, I just want to make sure that we know who to contact in case you hurt Rhian." Dad said.

"Dad! No! She won't hurt me. Diba lab?" I said smiling to Glaiza.

"Naku Tito, makaka-asa ho kayo, aalagaan ko po si Rhian." Glai said.

"Aasahan ko yan hija." Dad smiled at Glai.

"Dad, don't scare her." I admonished Dad.

"I'm not scaring her Rhian, she has to understand after ng pinag-daanan mo kay Moe, hindi na ako papayag na masaktan ka muli." Dad said seriously.

I feel embarrassed for Glai, ever since I've been with Moe, rules slightly changed in the house. They've become very strict compared sa dati. Glai held my hand underneath the table, she lightly squeezed my hand for reaasurance.

"I understand Sir." Glai said.

Our breakfast continued with out so much fuzz. How lucky am I that my girlfriend is acting more of a man than any other men I've been with? It makes me feel all the more in love with her. My parents are still cool parents if you'd ask me, but grilling Glaiza this morning made me feel uneasy.

After our breakfast, I brought Glai into my room. Pagsara nito ng pinto, I tiptoed and gave her lips a soft kiss.

"I'm sorry lablab. Na-grill ka ni Daddy ng wala sa oras." I said apologetically.

"Mahal, ayos lang yun. Naiintindihan ko ang pangamba ng parents mo, I am your first relationship after Moe, Moe was a bad person who broke your parent's trust, sana maintindihan mo din sila Mahal, hindi sila agad magtitiwala sa iba o baka nga hindi na nila kayang magtiwala muli. Pero araw-araw ko naman papatunayan sa kanila at sayo na hindi ka nagkamali ng pagpili sa akin." She said as she puts her arms around me, effectively trapping me in a hug.

"Ang swerte ko talaga sayo lablab. Sobra. Parang nanalo ako sa girlfriend lottery." I said chuckling.

"I love you, Mahal. I won't get tired of doing so." She said quite confidently.

"Lakas talaga. Wait. I have to get ready." I said as I placed another soft kiss on her lips.

"Go na mahal. Iintayin kita sa terrace, dito lang muna ako." She said as she lets go of me.
