Power Up Seminar

It was a busy first day of the week, car pool kami ni Bianca today, dahil coding ang kotse niya today. Wala pa kami sa vicinity ng FEU, pero it feels like it, dahil sa walang humpay na updates from our co-officers sa department.

"Babe, hindi daw sila nakapagpa-reserve ng rooms kung saan gagawin ang seminar."

"What?! Teka, diba ka-tropa ni Glai ang naka-assign doon?"

"Yeah, si Sanya."

"Shit! Sinasabi ko na eh. Yung malanding yun! Ugh!"

"Can you please contact Kuya Caloy, siya yung facilities natin sa school. Here's his number." I told Bianca as I handed her my Phone. 

Bianca dialed his number and put him on speaker phone.

"Hello, Good morning po, sino po ito?" Kuya Caloy answered after two rings. 

"Kuya Caloy, si Rhian Howell po ito."

"Ay ma'am Rhian. Kayo po pala. Ano po bang maipaglilingkod ko sa inyo?" 

"Kuya, favor naman po. Kasi nakalimutan po ng Department Secretary namin na magpa-reserve ng room for our Seminar later po. Pwede po bang magpatulong na magpareserve?" 

"Ay Ma'am, hindi na po kailangan. Naayos na po ni Ma'am Glaiza yung room ninyo. Nakalog na po dito. Sa AVP 1 and 2 Room po kayo." 

"Ah ganun po ba kuya? Sige po, salamat na lang po." 

"Wow ha? Superwoman pala tong si GG." Bianca commented as I made a left turn sa intersection. 

"Gahd can you ask them where they are?" I answered Bianca.

She types in a message at maya-maya lamang ay nagreply na ang ibang co-officers namin.

"Nasa meeting room 1 and 2 daw sila." 

"Can you please tell them that they need to go sa AVP Room 1 and 2 dahil doon naka-reserve ang room natin? Thanks." 

"On it babe." She said as she was typing on her phone. 

"Let's grab some coffees muna at Starbucks, nakaka-high blood tong mga co-officers natin. Lunes na lunes. Lord! Why!?!" I exclaimed.

"Ahahahahahahaha! Halatang hindi nagpepay attention sa amin ni Glaiza." Bianca laughed.

"Oh my god, babe. Now I kindda feel bad having won the elections, paano na kayo ni Glai sa mga susunod na buwan? Kung hindi ko kayo maclosely monitored?" 

"Babe, hindi mo kailangan magworry, Glai and I will work together to keep the department together." 

 "Hay, I don't know what I would do with out you babe."

I ordered Bianca her Flat White Coffee, Black Brewed Coffee for me and a Latte for Glaiza, it was a thank you for her being a hero for this first Seminar we are holding for this school year.  I know that she drinks a latte, because I saw her drink it twice, so I decided to get her a latte. I asked the staff from the coffee shop to write a note on the cup. The note read as follows:

Glai,

Thank you for being the Superwoman our department needs. Good morning!

We continued to drive and after 5 minutes, nakarating na din kami sa school. I got my computer backpack, ganun din si Bianca. I got the coffees in one hand and my back pack naka-suot na sa likod ko. Bianca and I walked to the AVP Room 1 and 2, nakasalubong namin si Glai on our way there. 

"Glai, this is for you. Thank you for booking the rooms." I smiled as I handed her the cup of coffee. 

"Uy, Salamat Rhian." She said.
