Among the clouds

Last night was great, I woke up with Glaiza already up and about. Naka-order na ito ng breakfast namin and is now laying out the plates sa tapat ng full glass window which over looks the streets of Auckland. Then extending the view out to the vast shore of the pacific. New Zealand is a small country and is surrounded with mountains, bays, beaches, falls and coves. Truly an amazing country. I was briefly snapped out of my reverie when Glaiza spoke. 

"Mahal? Gising ka na pala. Good morning." She said to me as she smiled.

"Yeah, I just woke up. Good morning din lab." I smiled at her.

I pulled myself up with the blanket wrapped around me.

"Magbihis ka muna mahal, tapos mag-breakfast na tayo." She said to me.

I had found my thong and night gown, neatly stacked beside me. I put my clothes back on before standing up and going to the bathroom to freshen up.

Once I have freshened up, I sat at the coffee table by the window and kissed Glai quickly on her lips. She smiled into our kiss.

"Kain na mahal, bago pa lumamig ang pagkain." She said smiling.

I looked at the breakfast of corned beef and hash, brown rice and eggs. Black coffee fore and a latte for her.

"How did you sleep lab?" I asked her as I took a bite from the perfectly scrambled eggs on my plate.

"Okay naman ang tulog ko, uhm... Masakit lang yung ano." She said shyly as she took a bite of corned beef and rice.

"Masakit ang?" I asked her.

"Yung ano ko mahal. Masakit ng konti pero ayos lang." She said.

Hindi ko gets anong masakit sa kanya, I took a few moments trying to think of what it is that's hurting her. Was I too rough last night? She blushed as I looked at her.

"Mahal, first time ko kagabi." She said.

I blushed at her confession, God! How could I be so stupid?

"Aysh, lablab, I honestly forgot that you'd be sore today. Sorry!" I said to her.

"Ok lang mahal, normal naman to eh." She said smiling.

"Okay, so tuloy ba tayo magsky diving mamaya?" I asked her.

"Of course tuloy tayo." She grinned widely at me.

It was Glaiza's first time to do sky diving, I worry about her condition though, dahil baka masyadong masakit pa ang katawan nito. We ate silently, talking only from time to time. After breakfast, we got ready for our day at the beach and at the sky diving site. We took a bath, got into our leggings and a pull over fleece sweatshirt and wore our sneakers. Pur bag was packed with our swimsuits and shorts, dahil after sky diving we plan to end the day at the beach. The weather is nice in New Zealand as it is Spring time.

We got out of our hotel room hand-in-hand we walked to the elevator. We had Geoffrey drive us back to the airport so we could meet the sky diving instructor. I asked Geoffrey to pick us up again after two hours. Ang unang oras ay inilaan para matutunan ni Glaiza ang basics tapos ay itinuro sa akin ni Mark kung paano kapag tandem, since I knew how to sky dive. But not with a tandem. After maituro sa akin ang controls sa parachute, I picked it up quite easy. The first jump was with Mark as my tandem. It was so exciting as I floated among the clouds. Mamaya si Glaiza naman ang ka-tandem ko, although for now Mark and I made it safely to our landing spot. We waited for Glaiza and Noah to jump off the Plane. When they jumped, I looked at her as Noah maneuvers their Parachute. They landed upright just as Mark and I did.

Glaiza was nervous but laughing uncontrollably. She ran up to me and hugged me tight. She laughed as she did.

"Salamat, mahal. Grabe yung experience sobrang adrenaline rush." She said laughing.
