Chapter 41: Leaving With A New Member

After dealing with the vampires, we made sure to hunt down any survivors that were still in town.

Once we made sure that all of them were dead, we went back to the Inn. Before we did that, though, we informed everyone that the vampires were killed.

They didn't believe us at first, but once they realized that they were in fact gone, they all cheered and called us saviors. In fact, due to this, I got a few titles thanks to that.

I got the [Savior] title and [Vampire Slayer] title.

Not only that, but my stats increased a lot too.

Thanks to those vampires, I got a lot stronger. I didn't expect those guys to get me this powerful, but I was wrong.

Anyway, we were back at the Inn to get some rest. After everything that happened, I was too tired to function anymore.

So, I laid in my bed and slept for the day.

The next day, the town looked a lot lively than before. Everyone was walking around with a smile on their face.

It was nice to see this, but I had bigger issues to deal with. One of them being my carriage.

We still haven't fixed my carriage, which was the whole reason I stayed here. To make things worse, the guy that was supposed to fix it was another vampire.

Thanks to that, there's no one in the town to fix the carriage. This was just bad luck in itself.

Fortunately, it seems this town had spare carriages hidden in some barn a couple meters from the town. We went over to check it out and confirmed that there were more carriages.

I was a little hesitant since my current carriage was from the village I went to when I first came to this world. I didn't have anything else to remember the place by, so that carriage was mainly it.

Despite that, I could just visit the village when I settled down somewhere, so I guess it's not so bad. Regardless, I needed a ride and since these carriages were here, I'll take one.

After a few days passed by, it was time for us to depart once again. We've got all of the supplies we needed, we got a new carriage, and we also have a new member to the group.

Yeah, Vlad decided to join us on our little adventurer around the world. During the time we were settling down after the vampire fight, I told Vlad about what happened to me.
