You've got to be kidding!

What the hell kind of stats are those! It's so close to where I'm at!

Seriously, just what in the hell did I just walk into? Even if I'm still stronger than it in terms of stats, there's no telling what the hell this thing could do to me.

And just look at its goddamn skills!

I'm mean, are you kidding me? [Planet Empowerment]?

And what the heck is [Planetary Manipulation]? Does that mean it can control the ground or something?

Then there are its stupid titles. What's a [Divine Beast]?

And what's [Guardian of The Earth]? These skills and titles are making me very nervous!

While I was freaking out, the beast known as the Behemoth quickly saw us. It's stare actually gave me chills.

It affected Vlad a lot more because he was shaking in his shoes. His face was way paler than before too.

Damn. If this thing attacks us, I'm not sure Vlad will last.

His stats are close to a million, but with how strong this thing is, I don't want to risk that. I need to get him out of here and fast.

[Vlad, I'm going to open a portal, and you're going to rush in there as quick as possible. You got it?] I communicated with Vlad through Telepathy.

[But what about you?] He asked urgently.

[I'll catch up, but right now, your safety is my first priority. Just get in the portal quickly while I distract it. Understand?]

[R-right! I understand.]

Good. Looks like he's not going to argue with me.

With that, I was about to open up a portal, until . . .

[I'm surprised that a human like you can use Space Magic. Last time I checked, not many mages could achieve such a feat without completely depleting their mana.]

Both Vlad and I were startled by the third voice in our head. That's when we turned towards the Behemoth.

[D-did the monster j-just talk?] Vlad stuttered in surprise.

[Of course. I do have the [Telekinesis] skill, after all.] The Behemoth scoffed while talking through our thoughts.

Ah, crap, I forgot that it had that skill! Now it knows our plan.

[I must say, though. I've never seen you, two humans, before. Especially ones that can withstand my overwhelming presence.]

Overwhelming presence? I mean, it does look intimidating, but it wasn't overwhelming to me.

Maybe it was for Vlad since he's a lot more shaken up than me, but I shouldn't worry about that.

I composed myself and telepathically communicated with the Behemoth.

[Sorry to disturb you, Divine Behemoth.]

[Acting polite won't get you anywhere, boy. The fact that you are in my presence means that you're after something.]

Cutting straight to the chase, I see. I think if I make any pointless comments then this beast will kill me for sure.

[Well, the reason we're here is to find the beast controlling the monsters and attacking the Town nearby.]

[Oh? And did you find this certain beast?] The Behemoth glared at us with killing intent.

Geez, this thing's pretty scary. I haven't felt this afraid in a long time.
