The elder grew black claws from her hands and started slashing at me.
My response was blocking and deflecting her attacks.
[Hey! That hurts, dammit!] Thana complained in anger.
"Shut up! It's your fault for getting in my way!" Kenos continued to slash at me with all her strength.
Blocking her attacks won't do me any good, so I tried to gain some distance. However, she anticipated this.
"Don't think I'll let you get away from me!" She snarled as black chains appeared and wrapped around my body and legs.
She completely restrained me. I could barely move a muscle.
"You're mine, now!" Kenos launched her claws at me.
Crap!
"Thana!"
[On it!]
Thana then left my hand and started floating in mid-air. As Kenos was about to cut me, Thana deflected her attacks and even sliced one of her arms off.
"Agh!" Kenos screeched as she backed away.
With the elder tending to her wounds, Thana then cut through the chains to release me. Once I was free, she zoomed back into my hand.
"Nice work!" I praised.
[Thank you, master!]
"D-damn you! Stop being so damn pesky and just die already!"
Kenos quickly regrew her arm and hissed.
This is getting us nowhere. It's obvious that cutting her up won't do us any good.
She should've been killed by that attack, but she looked completely fine.
[H-hey! How come she's not dead?!] Thana, who didn't know why Kenos survived her [Death Touch], demanded answers.
"I think its because she's an elder." I assumed. "Your [Death Touch] can't kill her."
[She's an elder?! I thought all those geezers died after the great elder war!]
The Great what now?
"Foolish girl!" Kenos sneered. "Don't believe everything you're told. The other elders and I weren't killed, we were imprisoned! Locked away in the most inescapable places for all eternity!"
"Then how come you're here inside of me?" I asked.
If the elders were locked away forever, then why is she here now? I have a feeling that I'm not going to like her answer.
Kenos smiled. "It was because of my beloved and treacherous daughter, Zerris! She decided to have other plans for me, and sneaked me away from my prison."
The hell? What kind of plans did Zerris have?
I then remembered that the Elder was currently inside me.
"She wanted to plant you inside my body? What the hell for?"
"I wish I knew! If I had known that I would get stuck inside such a pathetic human, then I would've picked a different host!"
[Don't talk to my master like that, you bitch! I'll kill you!] Thana got angry by the Elder insulting me.
"You already tried, little girl! And you failed miserably~" Kenos laughed.
[You little...! Let's kick her ass, master!]
"Way ahead of you!" I then pointed Thana at the first Elder. "Come at me!"
