IN ANOTHER LIFE , josie saltzman ✔️

- 2. Game day

Two days later it was the annual football charity game and our team, the 'stallions' sucked! But only because we couldn't use our powers. Penelope and I stood in the hallway, talking. "And yesterday she just tried to block my magic because I wanted to talk to my aunt and I-" I realized Penelope was absent even though she was standing right next to me. "Hey, Peez! You there?" I snapped my fingers infront of her and she snapped out of it. "What?" My best friend asked and I sighed. "Were you listening, P?" I asked. In that moment Josie and Lizzie Saltzman came around the corner and I understood why she was so absent. The witch was eavesdropping. "Maybe you're pregnant, Lizzie?" The brunette started and I sighed. "Hey, P? Just leave it please." I said and she ignored me. Lizzie shot her a glare and Penelope continued. "Oh, or maybe it's just how that jersey fits." She mocked. I leaned against the wall, looking over to the twins, mouthing a 'sorry'. "Go away, evil one." Josie sat and tried to stay calm. "Already gone." But Penelope went closer to the twins and continued, "Hot tip? Next time you burn your ex's hair off, make sure she can't rock a lob." She said and flipped her hair over her shoulder. Then she walked away. "I'm sorry. She's just-" "Pure evil. And here I thought we could be friends. Go on. Follow her, Mikaelson!" Hurt by Lizzie's words in the heated moment I walked away and searched for my sister.

I found Hope outside in the entrance by the car, talking to a boy I've never seen before. I immediately could tell that he was a werewolf and chuckled as I walked up to them. "Aw, you've got a stray." I said and the boy eyed me before he turned me. "And you are?" He asked, angered. "Amaya." "This is Rafael, a newly triggered werewolf. He goes here now..." Hope said and I nodded. "Hm." Alaric joined us and his eyes wandered to me and Rafael. "You two are also coming?" He asked and I laughed. "Certainly not! The team needs me and besides, what's going on here anyway?" I asked and Alaric sighed. "It's Landon Kirby. He stole a knife-" "He didn't steal the stupid knife!" Rafael cut in. "Nothing in this school is a stupid anything." Hope argued. "As I was about say it's gone and so is Landon and now we need to get them both back. You could help us, Amaya." Alaric continued and I snorted. "Yeah, no, definitely not. I'll be attending the game and as you aren't... Well, someone needs to keep the blonde on the ground." He knew what I meant and his features changed. I turned around, opened a portal and stepped through it. The portal closed as I stepped into Hope's and my dorm room. I quickly changed into the clothes I'd be wearing today at the game and then walked downstairs.

I walked onto the football field and was immediately noticed by Dana and Dorian, who was the headcoach in Alaric's absence. "What is she doing here?" Dana spat and I walked infront of her. "Kicking your ass, obviously." I snarled into her direction and she suddenly stepped back a little and stayed quiet. "Not the spirit, Amaya!" Dorian called out and I tried to control the anger that building up inside of me. I looked away from the blonde and the referee then pulled out a coin.
"Alright, call it in the air." The coin went into the air and Dana called out while looking at Lizzie, "Tails never fails." Then the coin felt on the grass and they were looking down on it. It was tails.

We then went to shake hands and Dana walked past me without shaking it. I just chuckled, in the mood for a little fight. The game then went okay for not using our powers until Connor made a move on Kaleb and Dana scored a touchdown. I only saw that Dana said something to Lizzie and then she threw the ball down on Lizzie's feet. "I'm gonna kill that ugly bitch." I murmered and MG stopped walking next to me. "You know what Professor Saltzman said, right?" He asked and I smirked at him. "Oh, MG. If I want that bitch to suffer I'm not gonna let him know." I whispered and then walked up to Penelope and she handed me a water bottle. When MG wanted to get on she blocked him and smirked. "For the record, the nerdling approach never got any dude anywhere." Then she handed him a bottle. MG scoffed. "Okay, you're lucky that I'm still talking to you after that stunt you pulled last night, kissing me like that." I choked on my water and looked shocked at the both of them. "What?!" I asked. "Easy, Rose. Nothing going on here." Penelope said and I shaked my head. "I was giving you what you wanted." Penelope continued and looked at MG. "No, you were taking a shot at Josie. And when someone other than Lizzie takes a shot at Josie? They tend to wake up with scabies. You ever have scabies before? They're nasty." Penelope gave him a look and I turned my back to them and looked around.

The game continued after a while and as it turned out... MG made it, following Peez's instructions. Lizzie got sick of swallowing whatever Dana was saying. And now we used our powers.  I watched Lizzie as she muttered a spell under her breath which made the ball fall out of Dana's hands. Kaleb picked it up and then ran down the field, scoring us another touchdown. The score now was 35-35.

Now they discussed how we could continue after Lizzie gathered us for one last huddle. "Okay, guys. Last play of the game. It's Hail Mary time. Everyone but Josie, go long." Josie therefore frowned in confusion. "Wait, what do I do?" She asked her twin and I sighed. "It doesn't matter, because there's no way I'm gonna throw you the ball." She said. MG cut in, "Lizzie, look my way. I'll catch it." But Lizzie just rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Probably caught something from Penelope Park, too." She replied and I shaked my head. "Here we go again." I said. "Knock it off. Look, we score, and those clowns can't say crap to us for an entire year. Y'all feel me?" Kaleb cut in and I smiled widely at the team. "I like your spirit, Kaleb." I said and he smirked. "He's right, guys. Let's do this. Ready?" Lizzie asked and we all answered together, "Break!" We jogged back onto the field and got into position.

"Hey, Dana!" I yelled over to her and smirked mischievously. "I'm gonna kick your anorexic ass and then I'm gonna eat you alive." Lizzie turned around to me and smiled smugly at me before she crouched down. Then we all got ready to play. "Set! Hut!" Lizzie yelled and received the ball from Josie.

Lizzie didn't knew whom she could throw the ball to even with Josie making it clear that she is free and so the blonde twin waits while Dana counts quietly in a threathening tone. "Four Mississippi, five Mississippi..." That was then I snapped. I ran towards the human girl after the girl decided to run for the ball in Lizzie's hands. I jumped forward and tackled her down to the ground. "Told you I was kicking your skinny ass." I spat and Lizzie threw the ball towards Kaleb. "Sorry guys." I then mumbled a spell under my breath and the ball flew down and directly towards the ground.

Ten minutes later we were lined up to shake hands. The stallions were totally upset and the Timberwolves gloated about their win. "Good game." Josie said and Dana sneered, "Suck it loser!" My eyes unintentionally glowed and when it was my time to shake her hand I growled quietly. Then I punched Dana in the face. "I don't think so, Dana!" I yelled and then we all went to fight one another. Before it was all cut off I felt the blonde's fist in my face.
