↳ 33. And the wolves and the witches

I walked through the halls, passing MG and Josie on my way. I had a box in my hands with all the pictures and notes that mysteriously appeared after I jumped into Malivore, it also contained the last things I had. Witches and vampires glanced at me as I walked up to my old room. Hope's room. I passed Sebastian and Lizzie, heavily making out.

I went into the room to find Hope sitting on her bed with Landon, also making out. I cleared my throat loudly before I set down the box on the floor before my feet. "Amaya!" Landon exclaimed as he pulled away from Hope and then awkwardly fell down onto the floor which made Hope snicker. "I, um, I surely can ask for a single..." I muttered. "No! I missed you. Please, stay!" Hope exclaimed and sat up, running her hand through her hair. "I should go." Landon said and got up. "I'll see you two in class." He said before walking past me.

"Oh, Amaya? Welcome back." He said and then left the room. I smiled and then walked up to the free bed, before I vamp-speeded through the room, putting all the photos onto the nightstand. Hope pulled me into a hug just when I finished and embraced me tightly. "Oh." I hummed and closed my eyes as I hugged her back. "Yeah, I missed that very much." I spoke softly. "So,um, you really had a son?"She said after pulling away from me. We sat down on her bed.

"I did. His name was James." I whispered and Hope took my hand. "Was?" Hope whispered confused. "I- I- I don't know if he is still alive." I spoke and kept my eyes down. "Selina, his daughter, was the last person that I know of to see him, I assume." Hope cut me off, "Selina... Wait! Selina Williams?" Hope asked and I nodded. "Yep. That Selina." I chuckled. "I can't believe you had a child!" Hope said and I smiled sadly. "Yeah, I- I, um, try to forget that time." I said and looked up to her. Her blue eyes, Dad's eyes, met my hazel eyes, the combination of my parents eyes. "Why?" She asked.

"I had to give him up. Can- Can we talk about something else?" I spoke and Hope nodded. And so we talked. Until we went to class.

"Did you hear... she gave up her revilas magic." "She's indestructable now." "I heard she killed humans before." "Please, Amaya Mikaelson being a full tribrid doesn't change anything. The only thing that was special about her is now gone." That last voice belonged to Alyssa Chang. I smirked as I sped infront of her, downstairs at the end of the hall with the other witches. "Hi. Sorry, you were saying?" I asked as my eyes flashed golden, black veins appearing underneath them. A snarl escaped my throat. "Damn, Rose! How about we just go in the other direction?" A voice behind me said and Kaleb put his arm around my shoulder and turned me around to him and MG. I tried to block out their voices but that seemed to be the hardest thing to do.

"Ugh. I want to rip out her throat." I groaned and looked at the two vamps infront of me. "What are you so stressed out about anyway?" Kaleb asked and I took a deep breath. "It's been a while since I... fed." I whispered and closed my eyes not to look at them. "Ah... and therefore you don't look forward to the bunny blood around here?" Kaleb asked and I nodded, opening my eyes again.

"I don't. Vamps need fresh human blood- hell, at least human blood bags." I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. "Glad to have you back with the vamps, Rose." MG said and I let out a trembling breath. "And the wolves and the witches. Ah, isn't it great to be a tribrid." My voice was more sarcastic than usual.

Later after classes started, I was recruited by Alaric to show Sebastian around. To show him the three factions and how we mostly get along. So I did that. "Look, I'm not convinced that you belong here. We don't admit vampires over the age of 17." Alaric said. I chuckled and lifted the invisibility spell I put on me and revealed myself to Sebastian. "But... since you've been stuck in that coffin, we might make an exception if you pass our tests." I said and waved with a mischievous smile.

"Aren't you over the age of 17?" Sebastian asked and I chuckled while I stepped forward, leaning against the headmasters desk. "I am, but in my case... well, I am all three of the factions being taught here, so..." I shrugged and Sebastian nodded slightly. "Today you will spend time with all three factions, and me as your guide, to see if you can control your basic urges." I said and Sebastian smirked. "If you kill me, I will just come back to life and I'm trained more than well enough so I can defend myself and others, and keep you from giving in to our basic urges."

Not five minutes later, we were in the grand hall where people studied. "Do me one favor, though. Do not hurt Lizzie." I said as we walked through the room. "So, um, all three factions mostly get along. There are infact other supernatural schools but I suppose no one that integrates all three factions." I started off and Sebastian looked over to me. "And what about you? You are not only all three of the factions but you possess other magical powers that are not from this world." He said and I took a deep breath. "Not anymore. I gave up those magical powers to save my friends, this school. I am now only a tribrid." I answered.

"Anyway..." I said as we walked past Josie and I realized that I must looked worried seeing her over books, looking not good herself. "Um, anyway..." I began and walked with him into the hall. That was when Hope walked up to us. "What's going on?" She asked and I looked over to her. "I'm showing Sebastian around, seeing if he can control himself around the students, and if he can he probably gets to stay." I said and Hope nodded. "Call if you need backup?" She spoke and I smiled reassurently, "Trust me, I can handle him." Of course I couldn't know at the time that I could be horribly wrong.

After the tour with the vamps and the play with the wolves, we went into the grand hall where people where either were studying or eating. Or both. When Alyssa accidently cut her palm infront of us, I literally saw red. Vamps sprung up from their seats, the wolves that were already on edge began growling. "Code red! Jed, calm the wolves down! Vamps out! Now!" I shrieked and backed away from the blood on the floor. The vampires rushed out and Jed and the wolves left, too.

"Amaya?" Someone asked as I looked up to Alyssa and her bleeding palm. Black, bubbling veins appeared under my eyes and the whites of my eyes turned blood red as fangs grew from my gums. My eyes flashed golden. I had forgotten the taste of human blood. It had been way too long that I even had a drop of it, aside from the animal blood I occasionally fed on to keep living.

"I-" I muttered under my breath and failed to snap out of it. I was grabbed by my shoulders and pushed back against the wall by Sebastian who looked into my eyes. "Breathe, Amaya, breathe. Focus only on the sound of my voice. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe." He said and my eyes looked into his and I took deep breaths through my mouth. "I'm sorry." I whispered as I looked up to the ceiling and closed my eyes. I was ashamed. "I'm sorry." I spoke as I opened my eyes and looked back to Sebastian. "Thank you."

After the tour and the failed visit to the witches and the chat with Sebastian in the gym, I was looking for my sister. And as it happened, I heard her voice coming out of the twins room. "Trying to steal my girlfriend, little Mikaelson?" I said with a straight face as I opened the door and the two girls looked guilty. Guilty as doing black magic guilty. I crossed my arms over my chest and let out a sigh as I stepped in and closed the door. "Kidding..." I whispered. I laid down on Lizzie's bed and closed my eyes. "I- I heard what happened." Josie said and had a sympathetic look on her face. "Well, just another Tuesday, right?" I spoke and smiled as I sat up and looked down to them. "What were you two doing?" "As you said, just another Tuesday." Hope answered. So, they did this often. Huh.
