"Okay, um, regarding Hope..." Selina started and I sighed as I put my hair behind my ears. "My parents had a massive falling out. Mom was angry and confused because she knew about Hope before it even happened and Dad was.. well, you know how he was. One day, it escalated to the point that they were not only yelling at eachother. To protect them from eachother, I had my mother go with Sophia back to Meridial where they did god knows what. Dad was alone in some way and more angry at himself than he was at my mother. I... I don't know. I only know what I heard or saw those weeks. Anyway, when I found out about what he did, that he had cheated on her... Mom calmed me down. She wasn't angry. She was just calm. She told me that she had a vision of Hope, of Hayley as a hybrid. Of all of us, as a family. A happy family." I said and brushed my fingers through my hair. "That's why she forgave him, even when he doubted he deserved it. Plus, the constant pain they've had to endure was heavy on all of us. When Hope was born, my mother was eager to protect her. But Dad knew I could protect her better than anyone else from the threats in New Orleans, so he asked me to hide my sister and I where we couldn't be found." I chuckled sadly when I remembered it. "And I did. Eight months long." I told her the rest of the story and then Selina began to reveal something about herself.
"When I first arrived in New Orleans to see your mom, it wasn't only to inform her about Ruby and Meridial. I needed to see you. To confirm something." I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "To confirm what?" I asked. "That I'm your granddaughter." She whispered and a heartbreaking memory pushed itself infront of my eyes.

"Promise me, he will be fine." Francis begged and from the corner of my eye, I could see my father nod. "He will live. They both will. That's what matters." He said and then put his hand on Francis' shoulder. My eyes returned to my baby boy as I tried to ignore my father's compulsion on the man I loved. My mother walked over to me and held up a small pen. Only it wasn't a normal pen. I pressed my baby to my chest as she carefully marked his arm with a smybol that stood for reconnection. "There." My mother smiled and I sat up on the bed, keeping him close to myself. My father walked over to us after he sped Francis away, with no more memories of us or his baby boy. "Amaya." He whispered. "He doesn't even have a name yet." My mother argued and put her hand on my father's arm. "Do I have to give him up? You know I can protect him." I said and looked up to the original vampire, tears slowly filling my eyes. "I do know that but it's too much of a risk. If he finds us- If he finds your baby." Dad said and I nodded.
"James." I suddenly said and pressed a kiss on his little forehead. His eyes were open and he looked curiously around. "I love you and I will come and find you as soon as the danger is gone. I promise. My child, my perfect little boy. Your parents love you and all we did so far was for you. So that you can live." I whispered and then a portal opened as I handed my baby over to my mother. He started to cry before they vanished into the portal. My dad hugged me as I broke down in tears. "He will live, Amaya. He and Francis. They will live a life full of wonders."

"I've had a son a few years after I turned 18. And I named him James." I whispered and slowly, tears rolled down my cheeks. "I had to sent him and his father, Francis, away because of... a threat." I said. "I know. He's been looking for you ever since the mark on his arm appeared." I looked up to her, faint hope sparkling in my eyes. "Yeah, he is still alive. But I do not know where to find him though." I smiled in relief and Selina put her hand on my cheek. Infront of my eyes appeared an image of her memory. Selina, a brown haired woman with brown eyes and a man with dark blonde hair and hazel eyes stood infront of her. And I knew immediately that that man was my son. I smiled and felt at peace when she removed her hand and the image faded away.
"Your mother. She is beautiful." I whispered and Selina smiled sadly. "Was. Her name was Lillian. She died about 20 years ago." She whispered and I put my hand on her shoulder. "I'm so sorry to hear that. I bet she was lovely." Selina nodded. "She was."

Later we met up with Alaric and were eventually joined by Hope, Landon, Josie and the traitor Ruby. The latter brought a japanese soldier like looking guy with them and Josie expained that he was looking for a demon who could take over literally anyone. Of course, Ruby made a remark about how she could never get possessed by such a demon and all I wanted to do was to rip her head off.
Ruby was the most broken of all revilas and that really meant something. I wanted to wipe that smug smile off her face.
I was in Alaric's office at the local High school and sat down on the chair. A deep sigh left my lips as Alaric entered the room. "You told me the truth and it all worked out. Why can't you tell them the same?" He asked and I brushed my hand through my dark red hair. "Because... Josie and I were in love. Like real love. Epic love. If that even exists." I said and looked up to him. He nodded and sighed, "I can assure you it does." My eyes began to flash blue when I said, "But now she's with Ruby. I mean, the real, purified Ruby. And Josie doesn't know what we were to eachother. And I'm afraid if I tell her, she's gonna hate me forever and then I'm gonna hate myself because she is everything to me." While speaking my eyes softened and returned to their original hazel color.

"Ugh! I hate to kill all the fun but if she's here, I don't want any part of it." Selina said after we found Lizzie with the demon in her head tied up to a tree in town square. Josie and I have been watching Ruby and Selina say things to one another.
When the girlfriend word dropped, I turned around to puke out what I've been eating in the past days, despite feeling very well. When I turned around, I saw Josie pulling the magic out of the sword and she looked up to the sky, slowly closing her eyes. Lines appeared in her face and I grew worried.
Suddenly, she held her hand from her body towards Lizzie and let out a scream and the black magic did the rest to the Oni. I clutched my head as I felt a pain deep in my chest and fell down on my knees. "Lumineré la revila." I heard Selina say as she pulled me into her arms and then we vanished into thin air.
We sat down in our room at the school as a bright light appeared above our heads. "Hope? She's your light?" I opened my eyes and looked up to the beautiful statue of Hope. "Who else would it be?" She suddenly asked and Selina got up. "I'll leave you alone." The brunette said and left the room. "So, what ir well, who hurts you?" The mirror of my sister asked and sat down infront of me. "Josie." I said without thinking.

Later in another room, memories flodded through the head of Elizabeth Saltzman. Memories of Amaya. From when they first met, to her first helping Lizzie to their last encounter when Josie was shot. Suddenly, Lizzie awoke with a slight gasp and exclaimed the words,
                              "Amaya. Rose. Mikaelson."
