I awoke in an unknown bed and sat up immediately. That's when I noticed that I was naked and the memories came back to me. I turned around and saw the person I was bound to. She awoke and I raised my hand to touch her cheek. Josie took my hand and placed it on her cheek. "Last night was..." I started and Josie opened her eyes. "If you say mistake I will get that sapphire stone." I chuckled and shook my head. "Beautiful." I answered. Josie smiled and I looked around. No Lizzie, oh thank god. "I should get up and to my room before Hope wakes up." I whispered and leaned down to press a kiss on her forehead. "Can't believe you'll spend your spring break on Meridial." She whispered and I got up and got dressed in my clothes from yesterday. "I promised my mother." I said and sighed. "I'll be back before you know it." I smiled and turned around to Josie when i was fully dressed. "Have fun on Meridial." She whispered with a small smile. "Don't get into dangerous situations while I'm gone." Josie chuckled and nodded. "You too." I waved goodbye and then left her room and went into my own. There, Lizzie was sleeping in my bed and Hope was already up, reading in her bed. Hope looked up and eyed me when she noticed my clothes. Then she smirked. "Seems like you had a good night." Hope whispered and Lizzie awoke when I closed the door. She sat up when she was fully awake and looked at me with sleepy eyes. "If she cries one time because of you I will hurt you." She said and I nodded. "What happened to turning over a new leaf?" Hope asked as Lizzie got up. "Oh, that's over." She answered and smirked. "We are still friends, right?" I asked and Lizzie smiled at me. "As long as you treat her right, sure." Then she left the room and I went to sit down on my bed. "Oh, girl.." Hope remarked and I went to my drawer and picked out something new to wear that was not part of the school uniform. "Right, you're going to Meridial for spring break." Hope whispered and then got up from her bed and walked up to her dresser. "Can you do me a favor?" I began to ask and looked over to my sister. She nodded while picking something out to wear. "Sure." She said and gave me a smile. "Can you watch over Josie for me? I'm just... sure that the monsters will keep coming and I don't her want to get hurt." I whispered and Hope nodded. "Of course. And you will give your mom a hug from me?" She asked while I smiled and nodded. "Sure." I whispered. Then I got dressed and ready for my departure.

I had said goodbye to Alaric, Josie, Lizzie, MG and Hope and just arrived on Meridial which seemed to be my second home. My mother and Sophia had waited for me at the gate with big smiles and the guards lining up. But even when we went inside the guards still were outside and seemed to protect the castle. "Everything alright here?" I asked as soon as we arrived the throne room. "Oh, of course. Some of the lords can't seem to accept the fact that I will marry someone but still keep my full powers and they want to fight a war they'll bitterly lose." I sighed and sat down at the table. "But tell me, how is my future daughter in law?" I raised an eyebrow and looked at my mother confused. "She was sad to see me go but apart from that she feels good." I said and grinned to myself as I thought back to the events from yesterday. Mom and Sophia also sat down at the large wooden table and looked curiously over to me. "These monsters that are coming for your school... can you describe them to us?" Sophia asked and I nodded. "The last one was a mind-controlling slug. It controlled us to look after the urn that was one of the Malivore artifacts." I said and my mother sighed. "Leah had once told us about mythical creatures that were wandering Earth, destroying villages." Sophia said and I frowned. "Grandma Leah?" I asked and they nodded. "She said they were gargoyles, unicorns, dryads... all kinds of your so-called monsters." The raven haired revilad told us. "But no earthwalker can remember them." I said confused. "Leah was no earthwalker. She was a revilas. And a revilas can't be compelled. The earthwalkers may have forgotten about them but we remember them through Leah's stories ever so clearly." Sophia said and I brushed my fingers through my hair. "But if we could get the artifacts on Meridial the monsters would stop searching because they don't know about this world." I said and mom has flashed her eyes at me angrilly. "I will not secure those artifacts here on Meridial! I might as well wake Ruby up by myself." She yelled and I looked down on the table. "I'm sorry, I haven't thought of that." I whispered and I looked back up after a few more seconds.
