I walked around in the darkness as I got more and more sad that I would never make it out of here. "Hello? Hello?" I yelled as I looked around. "Clarke!?" I yelled out and then raised my hands as my eyes glowed green. I cast a light spell to see when a wide hole opened, sucking everything in. I quickly turned around and tried to run but it was useless as I fell to the ground.
Almost vanishing in the hole too, I closed my eyes and wished for it to be over when my arm was suddenly grabbed by someone. I opened my eyes to see the man I pushed myself with into Malivore. The hole closed and Ryan Clarke caught me. "Fancy meeting you here." He said and smirked as I pushed myself off his arms and on my feet. "Ugh." I shook my body in disgust before I turned around.
I looked around before I looked back to Ryan. "Oh, great... I'm in Malivore... with you." I rolled my eyes at him. "I get it, you're a quick study." She rolled her eyes again at his statement. "Yeah, well, I've been alive for a hundred years. You learn to adjust to your surroundings." I said and sighed as I ran my hand through my red hair.

[ Josie POV ]
Meanwhile, summer began. Lizzie left for Europe to be with Mom and we've been talking eachother through a prism. Everyone else went home. Well, everyone except Hope and Landon. Ever since they came back from Malivore, even with no idea how they managed that, they have been working on trying to fill some holes in their memories as they called it. For example, why Hope had all these photos and letters hidden in her room. She said that they were enchanted to be invisible.
I followed the self-written note on my wrist as a mysterious girl began showing up in the school. Amaya Rose Mikaelson was mentioned in some of the history books but Hope had no idea who that was. The mysterious girl with emerald eyes showed up shortly after Hope and Landon came back from Malivore but that was it. At the time, no one talked to her.
"Oh, I'm... sorry." I said as I reached for a book that she also seemed to be reaching for. "You can see me?" We were in the library and no one was in here, except us. "Of course, I can." I said confused until I realized it. She was using an invisibility enchantment. I slowly let go of the book and turned to her. "Who are you?" I asked. She frowned and looked me up and down before she smiled and replied, "Ruby. Ruby Hale." She said and I held out her hand which I shook. Little did I know at the time that I should've listened to the unknown alarming voice in my head that yelled at me to run as far as I possibly could.
"So... you're a new student?" I asked. "Yes. Yeah, Someone named Dorian allowed me to take a look around while everyone was out." She said and her emerald eyes turned to the color human green eyes. I looked down at the book she was holding and frowned. "The myth of the revilas." I whispered and tilted my head. "Yeah, did you know that they're supposed to be like... royal entities?" She asked and I shook my head. "Kind of. We're not supposed to be learning much about them since they almost destroyed this town once." I answered softly. "Right. Olivia." She whispered, it was almost too quiet for me to hear.

[ Amaya POV ]
I let go of Clarke's hand as I dropped on the floor when that vortex in the air stopped sucking me in. The hole opened after I performed a revilas spell, used to bring out lights in dark surroundings.
"Why does that thing open all the time?" I asked and turned to Clarke. "You know, I thought about things. The vortex always opens after I use my revilas magic. And it got me thinking. To kill Malivore, I had to jump in as a fully activated tribrid. And I'm exactly that. But I'm also still a revilas. I never actively gave up my revilas side, so that I'm only the tribrid. And I believe that's why Malivore is different. I just can't figure out that vortex. So, now... you tell me the truth. Veritas tempus." I cast a truth spell on him and smirked as I asked, "So, am I right?" He quickly spoke, nothing but the truth. "Yes. Your revilas side keeps you human enough and he doesn't like it. Malivore's trying to expel you." He said truthfully and then looked confused. "Why- Why did I say that?" He asked and I let out a sigh. "I cast a truth spell. This is gonna be fun. For me, not for you." I said and had a satisfying smirk on my lips.
"I'm toxic to Malivore. Now please, finish that sentence." I said and he answered unwillingly, "He is trying to send you back to where you came from." I closed my eyes for a moment and nodded. "But every time he tries..." "I grab a hold of you to try to get expelled with you. But as much as my father wants you to leave, he wants to keep torturing me in here." He interrupted and I nodded. "Hmm. So, I guess I'll just have to wait." I said and Clarke stepped closer. "Please, Amaya. You have to get me out of here." He said and I looked down before I looked into his eyes. "We can't leave together! And I need to go back to my friends. I need to go back to Hope!" I exclaimed and felt my eyes glistening green. "I can't lie, right? So you know I'm telling the truth when I say that if you help me go back, too, you'll never see me again. I promise." He said and I sighed again. "I'm sorry." And then the vortetx opened right behind me. "I'm a revilas, maybe I can get you out after all... but for now, I have to go back and see my sister. Good luck, Clarke!" I said and he yelled when I was about to be sucked up by the vortex, "Screw you, Amaya!" And then I was back in the real world.
I inhaled a deep breath before I ran through the woods to get back to the Salvatore school. I sneaked into my room to find it empty and sat down on Hope's bed which was in the center now. All my stuff was gone. I sniffled before I got up, took my still hidden prism and my emergency bag that was also still hidden. I went into Josie's room to see a note on her nightstand, next to the blue stone I once gave her. I picked up and held it to my chest before I felt tears rolling down my cheeks and a weight on my soul. I looked down on the note and felt my soul sting. Amaya Rose Mikaelson, a revilas. Find her.
I placed the stone and the note on their places on the nightstand and got up to leave the room. I walked downstairs to find Josie in the library, leaning over books with someone next to her. A girl. "Invisique." I whispered and found myself invisble to them as I watched them from afar. They talked until they moved closer to one another and kissed.
If my soul magic wasn't already stripped from me, I'd be even mlre the mess I was now. I started to cry again and left the school, sitting down at the next bus stop. So much for revilas magic over any other magic. So much for soul bond over anything. I held the prism in my hands as I stared down at it. "Hey, is this seat taken?" A female voice asked beside me and I looked up to see Hope with a small, reassuring smile. "Hope." I whispered and felt myself lighting up. "God, I missed seeing your face." I whispered and she chuckled. "Yeah." I inhaled a deep breath before speaking. "You know skipping town is not right. I need you. Josie does too." She said and I shook my head. "No, you don't. You have Landon and Josie has someone now too. You don't need me anymore." Hope sighed. "I'll always need my big sister, and Josie... I'm surprised she isn't screaming out in pain because of the bond." I bit my lip. "I might have severed the bond before I jumped into Malivore." Hope rolled her eyes at me. "Wow. Great."
I formed a magic ball in my hands after I set the prism down. "Come on! All I need is a green light." I whispered and I felt Fake Hope's eyes on me. "You're trying to restore it..." She said and I nodded. "It it doesn't work, then my ties to the core of Meridial are also gone." Suddenly, the light glowed green and I sighed in relief. Then I thought about it and used the magic differently. "This goes out to Olivia Hale, Queen of Meridial..." I stopped and sighed. "This is Amaya Mikaelson and I'm alive." I said and then the ball rose in the air and vanished. Fake Hope also vanished.
