"WAKE UP!!!!!"
-Sonic woke up and immediately fell off the hammock. He fell on his face and the rest of him slammed onto the ground. He groaned and looked up at Fleetway. What the Hell, Fleetway!?
-Fleetway handed Sonic a phone. "You got a message."
-Sonic sat himself up straight and glared at Fleetway. Was that really necessary!? You could've just tapped me or something that wasn't making my ears bleed!
"Where's the fun in that?" Fleetway smirked. He then thrusted the phone at Sonic's chest. "Come on! I'm not going to hold your phone forever."
-Sonic rubbed his chest with one hand and grabbed his phone with the other. He typed in the pass code and went into his recent messages. His best friend Tails had texted just a few minutes ago. Sonic read the text.
Hey, Sonic.
Do you think you can come over?
I could use some help and company at the moment.
-Sonic smiled and started typing his reply.
Sure thing!
I'll be there in a few.
-Sonic stood up and started walking over to a small hut about ten feet away from the hammock. He open the door and walked in. Fleetway was already inside, sitting in the chair by a small table. Sonic walked over to a small cabinet on the wall and opened it. He scanned the entire thing until he went and grabbed an energy bar. He looked at Fleetway and grabbed another energy bar. He threw at the table. Fleetway grabbed the energy bar and looked at him confusingly. Don't look at me like that. I still have to feed you, ya know?
"What am I, a pet?" He asked sarcastically as he stood up and followed Sonic as he walked out of the hut. Fleetway kept himself close to Sonic and looked at him worriedly. "Don't you think Tails is getting too close to figuring me out?"
-Sonic kept his gaze forward as he walked a bit faster. Tails is smart, but he won't ever figure you out. He thinks what you look like when you take over my body is a mixture of my Super and Dark form. We needn't worry about him.
"I don't know. What if he did ever find out?"
-So what? Not like he would ever go against me. He's like my little brother. And Sonic already knew Fleetway was about to comment on that.
"Treat him more like a brother than me," Fleetway muttered.-Sonic opened the door to Tails' house and walked inside. He closed it after Fleetway flew in and looked around to find Tails. "Yo! You in here Tails?"
-The sound of metal crashing sounded across another door and Tails popped out of it. He was panting and he smiled awkwardly. "Sorry about that! I didn't hear you come in."
-Sonic chuckled and walked over to Tails. "So what did you need help with?"
"I'm adding extra changes to my plane and I need you to read my papers while I work so I can get it done faster."
"All right, that's not so bad," Sonic grined.
"But I also need you to clean any oil spills that might occur."
"That is not so good," Sonic frowned.
-Tails giggled. "You just need to be careful not to get any on your fur. It's not that hard."
"Ooh! The great Sonic the hedgehog is afraid of getting his fur dirty!" Fleetway laughed.
-Sonic ignored him and followed Tails into a hallway that led into the workshop where Tails' plane stood, basking in the sunlight from the window. Sonic placed his hand on the wing and smiled. "I remember always flying this thing before I met you."
"Yeah?" Tails grabbed a pair of goggles and put them on his forehead.
"It wasn't as fun without having someone else drive while I stood at the top," Sonic chuckled. "You did a really good job taking care of it."
"Of course! It was from 'The Great Hero of Mobius' after all," Tails said humorously. He put the goggles over his eyes and pointed to a stack of papers. "Can you get the one that's titled 'Plane Extensions?' It has three pages."
-Sonic narrowed one eye. "Three pages!?"
"They're mostly filled with sketches," Tails reassured. He then laid himself down on a garage creeper and slid himself underneath the plane. He opened something and stuck a screwdriver in it.
-Sonic walked over to the stack of papers and started going through them. "Damn, Tails! How much things do you have in here?"
-One of Tails' tails twitched as a bolt fell from where he was messing with in the plane. He slid out and grabbed the bolt. "I always write down steps and what I need, but it always takes so long when I have to work on the plane and go back and check the papers over and over," He then slid back under the plane.
"Gotha," Sonic placed the other papers aside as he kept looking for the right ones. While looking through he found a sketch of someone and froze. Fleetway!
-Fleetway flew over in an instant and loomed over his shoulder. "What is it?" He then gasped when he looked at the picture.
-Sonic glanced worriedly at the sketch. It was Fleetway. Sonic trembled and looked back at Tails. "Uh...Tails? What is this?"
-Tails came out from under the plane after closing the part he had opened. He sat up and put his goggles over his forehead. "What's what?" Sonic showed Tails the sketch of Fleetway. "Oh that! It was something I was trying to figure out a long time ago. I decided to leave it be since I figured it was just another one of you many many forms."
"Yeah! Yeah...right," Sonic placed the sketch down with the other papers he set aside.
"Why? Is there something wrong with it?" Tails asked.
"Uh---No! It's just that..." He carefully looked at Fleetway but he just shrugged his shoulders. He looked back at Tails and grined. "It was a form I'm not proud of."
-Fleetway then punched his shoulder. "Seriously!?"
-Sonic stumbled forward and glared at Fleetway. Dude! Watch it!
"Come up with something that's less offensive next time!" Fleetway sneered.
-Tails walked over to Sonic. "You okay? What happened?"
-Sonic flattened his ears and tried to think of an excuse. "Tya---ah...just pins 'n needles," He lied.
-Tails nodded and went through the papers and grabbed the three at the bottom. He handed them to Sonic. "Should've told you they were at the bottom," He giggled.
-Sonic laughed awkwardly and grabbed the papers from Tails. After Tails laid back on the garage creeper and slid back underneath the plane Sonic turned to look at Fleetway. Quite doing stuff that forces me to lie to my friends! He pestered.
-Fleetway glared back at Sonic. "You force me to do stuff like that!" He retorted. "And it's not like I can help it!"
-Sonic turned his back on him and went to sit by Tails. He looked at the first line of writing and explained to Tails what he needed to do.
-Fleetway walked over and leaned on the wall. He placed one foot on it while he crossed his arms and looked away from Sonic.
-Sonic snorted as he continued reading the papers. Quit acting like a child, Fleetway. It isn't going to change anything.
-Fleetway's only reply was an angry mumble as he sat down and looked out the window.
