-Almost a week passed since the meeting in the palace. Sonic had already hosted his meeting at a cafe and they discussed what they were going to do about Eggman. They decided to take all the Chaos Emeralds like Tails wanted and then they would destroy Eggman's death weapon and erase his blueprints. Sonic wasn't all too happy about getting the rest of the emeralds since he knew why Tails wanted them. Shadow and Tails have been pestering Sonic about Fleetway everyday, yet Sonic still didn't care. Shadow had convinced Fleetway to stay with him since Shadow was the only other person that could see him. Sonic and Amy had already taken some of the stuff from Sonic's small house and brought it to her house.
-It was morning and Sonic and Amy were leaning on each other while on their phones in bed. Sonic was watching random internet videos while Amy was on social media, pinching the collar of her pink pajamas. Sonic wrapped his arm around Amy as he looked out the window. He thought about how he was going start his new adventure with Amy since he had no more interruptions. But Fleetway came into mind again and he tried desperately to push him out.
"Sonic?"
-Sonic turned his head and looked at Amy. "Yeah? What's up?"
"It's just that...what made you decide you wanted to stay?"
-Sonic giggled and kissed Amy's forehead. "It's because you're here that I wanted too."
"But there's another reason isn't there?"
"Guess I got tired of being alone," He immediately regretted saying those words since they were Fleetway's. He shook his head and side. "Eh...it's stupid really."
"Not at all!" Amy started cuddling Sonic. "To be honest, I like a man who's sensitive."
"Who says I'm sensitive!?" Sonic chuckled as he pulled Amy in an embrace. He set her beneath him and grined. "People say I'm hard as stone!"
"In more ways than one!" Amy then giggled out loud.
"Dirty are we? Better knock that off!" Sonic then started tickling Amy and she continued to laugh.
"Stop it Sonic!" She screamed as she pushed him off of her and tackled him. Sonic landed on his back and Amy sat on top of him. She made a smug look and leaned her face in close to Sonic. "You shouldn't have done that. You just poked a bear!"
-The bedroom door suddenly slammed open and revealed Shadow. "Sonic! A---" He then froze when he saw them on the bed.
"Shadow!?" Sonic's face turned red and he started trembling. "What the fuck!?"
"GET OUT!!!" Amy's Piko Piko hammer then appeared in her hand and she threw it at Shadow. Shadow managed to shut the door in time and a loud thud shook the house when the hammer hit the door. She started growling as she got off of Sonic. "Don't people know not to barge in other people's room like that!?"
-Sonic sat up and rubbed his cheek. "Apparently not him," He got off the bed and watched as the hammer disappeared. "I don't understand why he's even here."
-Amy stood up as well and put on her purple slippers. "It better be important or I'm throwing hands!"
"Or a hammer," Sonic mumbled as he opened the door.  Shadow was sitting on the couch while tapping his foot on the ground. Sonic walked up to him and crossed his arms. "What's so important that you have to barge in like that?"
-Amy walked up next to Sonic and set her arm on his shoulder. "Perv!" She mumbled.
-Shadow cleared his throat and didn't bother making direct eye contact with either of them. "Forgive me for that but I really need to talk to Sonic."
"Are you serious?" Sonic asked furiously. "If it's about the same thing then don't bother!"
"What thing?" Amy eyed Sonic. "You still haven't told me."
"You told me that I didn't need to," Sonic reminded.
"I still want to know," Amy pestered.
"Later," Sonic nodded and looked at Shadow. "If that's all you're here for then you can just leave. I don't want to be caught up with this anymore."
-Shadow then stood up and grabbed his arm. "You don't have much of a choice! I don't want to be the only solution to your problem!"
-Sonic narrowed his eyes and started growling. "Let go of me," He warned.
"Or what?" Shadow sneered. "You're going to come with me!"
"Is that a threat?" Sonic yanked his arm away from Shadow.
"Sonic," Amy grabbed Sonic's shoulders and pulled him back. "If this is something that's upsetting you then you must. I want you to stop worrying about this. Please just go with him."
-Sonic stifled an angry growl and sighed. "Fine," He then glared at Shadow. "But don't expect anything to be resolved."
"It's going to be resolved."
-Shadow led the way out the door and Sonic reluctantly followed. Once Sonic stepped out of the door he turned around and smiled at Amy. "I won't be gone long," Amy nodded as he continued to follow Shadow. He could see how this would go. Shadow would force Sonic and Fleetway to make up, but first they would break out into another argument and even a fight. It would keep going like this until one of them backed out and walk away. Sonic wanted to avoid this but thanks to Shadow he was about to do what he didn't need.

-They finally made it to Shadow's house in almost fifteen minutes. Sonic had never been to Shadow's house before so this gave him an uneasy feeling. He always imagined that his house would be dark, depressing, and have a lot of blood and weapons. But when Sonic stepped inside he was surprised to find it to look like Amy's house: neat, tidy, and bright. He saw Fleetway lying on the couch sleeping.
-Shadow looked at Sonic and pointed at Fleetway. "You wake him."
-Sonic snorted and crossed his arms. Fleetway!
-Fleetway sat up immediately and glared at Sonic. "Why are you here!?"
"Because I'm forced to be here," He glared at Shadow. "Now what do you need me for?" He asked even though he practically knew already.
-Shadow pulled out his red Chaos Emerald and handed it to Sonic. "Both you and Fleetway are going to look for the others and give them to Tails afterwards."
"What!?" Sonic stepped back while Fleetway bolted out of the couch and ran over to Shadow. His face showed his discomfort.
"I'm not going to look for them with him!" Fleetway pointed at Sonic.
"I'm not either!" Sonic agreed. "I already told you and Tails to leave me out of this!"
-Shadow glared at Sonic. "You're not my leader. I don't get to listen to you."
"And what makes you think I should listen to you!?" Sonic snapped. "I have Amy to look after; I'm not going on some stupid long trip just to make Fleetway visible to everyone."
"Quit acting like a child!" Shadow barked. "You always complain about Fleetway acting like one when you've been showing that yourself," He shook his head and sighed. "Just do this, both of you. This is something you need to regain. Don't let me fix your problems for you," He tried handing Sonic the Chaos Emerald again.
-It took Sonic a few seconds to give in and grabbed the emerald from him. "Fine, but after this I'm heading straight back to Amy and how things are."
"Fine by me," Fleetway pitched in. "I've gotten used to this and I don't want to change it so quickly."
-Shadow nodded. "Great," He looked at Sonic. "You know how to find the others with that one?"
"Yes, Shadow," Sonic said in annoyance. "I've done this way longer than you have."
"Just making sure," Shadow then pointed at the door. "Now go."
-Sonic kept his head held high as he walked out the door with Fleetway following far behind him. Sonic tried to keep himself from looking back at Fleetway but something made him give in and he looked backed. Fleetway was a little slumped over as he walked and Sonic wondered if his back had fully healed. Sonic brought himself to looked forward before he hit a tree and coughed as he continued walking. How's your spine?
"Why do you care!?" Fleetway barked. "It's none of your damn business!"
-Sonic huffed as he made his way into the woods. Just trying to make conversation. Plus, I spent my money on your medicine so I deserve to know.
"It's fine!" Fleetway huffed. He then looked around at his surroundings and flattened his ears. "Um...where are we going?"
-Sonic grunted as he moved a tree branch out of his way before he answered. I need to tell Amy I'll be gone.
"You scared she's going to get too worried?" Fleetway said sarcastically.
-No, I'm scared she's going to hunt me down and murder me on the spot! He made his way out of the woods and started following the dirt path. You've seen her. She's crazy!
"Pussy," Fleetway mumbled.
-Sonic stopped and looked back at him. Hey! There's no need for that. You'd be scared too if she could give you her death glare. He then sighed and continued to follow the dirt path. Let's just hurry up. The faster we get this done the better.
"Your my brother not my dad!" Fleetway huffed. "Quite trying to order me around."
