"Here Bucky, since Steve won't let you hold his daughter." I said, gently handing Bucky Jacob. Buck took him gratefully, laughing a bit. Steve rolled his eyes.

"What's wrong Steve? You don't trust me with this and her?" Bucky joked. I sucked in a breath. I'm glad Bucky is comfortable with joking around about his arm. But..not that kind of joke.

"No, no, its not anything like that Buck." Steve defends calmly.

"Its just that overprotective dad instincts have already formed and are in full drive." I say for him. We all shared a chuckle. Steve took a seat next to me, still rocking our baby girl in his bulging arms. I lean my cheek against his shoulder to stared into Steph's light blue eyes.

"Dad! Guess what this years dance theme is!" Stephanie called, running into the lounge.

"Uh...American?" Steve asked with uncertainty. I laugh and roll my eyes.

"uh, no. Its 40s theme!" Steph announces, shooting her hand in the air.

"And guess who's gonna be the manager of the dance!" Jacob called, entering the room also.

"I know its not you, because you're not creative." I sass. Steph giggles.

"Nope! Its me! Dad, do you think you and Uncle Bucky could help me with music and decorations?" Steph asks.

"Help with what?" Another person enters the room, Bucky. I finally put my book down to engage fully into the conversation.

"She need help with music and decorations for the dance since its 40s theme." Jacob answers. This puts a smile on Bucky face.

"Of course, kiddo! I already have a few ideas in mind..." Bucky trails off, sitting on the couch.

~Imagine 3~

"Mom, I think I have strep throat." My daughter calls from the doorway into the kitchen. Her voice was ready raspy and quiet. Steve looked up from his phone. I gestured Stephanie to come here. He coughs lightly once she stops in front of me. I check her throat. It was bad.

"Yup, honey, you have strep. You're staying home today." I announce.

"What? No! They need me at dance!" Stephanie defended. Jacob walks in to the kitchen.

"Geez, you sound horrible." He comments. Steph rolls her eyes.

"Hey, be nice. Your sister has strep." Steve scolds lightly. Jacob pulls his shirt up and over his nose and mouth. "Sweetie, you can't be getting you teammates sick. I'm sure nothing bad will happen if you miss one day of dance. I'll call your coach and explain to her the situation." Steve explains. I nod in agreement.

"So go back to bed and I'll bring you your breakfast and medicine.," I command, pushing her toward the doorway, "you, young sir, are still going to school. Your game is this Saturday." I say to Jacob, pointing my finger. He pouts and puts his head down on the table.
