Kiki's POV

Today was December 1st. This marks the day where every avenger gets festive. We all got up early to start decorating. Well...almost all of us. I left Bucky to sleep, since he wouldn't know whats going on.

We were singing along to Christmas music while Wanda and I were hanging up garland along one of the many door frames. All of a sudden, I heard a voice behind me, "what's going on?" It was Bucky. I turn around and smile at him. His hair was in his face and he had put a shirt on since he sleeps shirtless. I stepped down from the ladder.

"Today is December 1st. Every year we start decorating the whole tower for Christmas. I didn't want to wake you for something stupid." I explain.

"Its not stupid!" Sam whined from the tree. I roll my eyes.

"Well you should have. I woke up scared as hell because I couldn't find you." Bucky scolded. I frowned. I forgot about his over protectiveness of me.

"I'm sorry. " I say, hugging him. He wraps his arms around me too. We pull apart. "Wanna help out?" I offer, gesturing to everything. He shrugs and nods.

"Might as well."

He helped Thor carry heavy stuff. I finished up with Wanda and we took an eggnog break. While drinking, I looked around. The once bland room, was covered in lights and fake fern. I was staring as the Christmas tree for a little bit. Then, my gaze shifted to Bucky's arm. The star. There was something about the star that reminded me of Christmas. Wait! A star goes on top of s Christmas tree! I had a great idea!

I threw my cup into the sink and rushed to my own lounge.

There, I grabbed all of my paint supplies and rushed back into the main room.

I grabbed Bucky by his metal arm and dragged him to the couch where I had all of my paints spread out. "Woah! What the hell are you doing, Kiki?" Buck asked.

"Sorry! Its just...I have an idea you might not like." I say with a hint of sadness. Bucky sanned the coffee table then looked at me.

"Why would you think that? Your ideas are great! As long as no one gets hurt in any way, its all good." He reassures. I look up at him and smile.

"I want to paint a Christmas tree on your metal arm, right under your star so it looks like its on top of the tree." I explain. Bucky lights up.

"See? I love that idea!" He says. I giggle and start painting his arm.

Wanda's POV

I hid behind a corner and watched as Kiki painted Bucky's arm with chatting. I smile to myself. I felt two hands gently grip my waist and that same person rest their chin on top of my head. "They are so cute together, Vis." I say.

"Yes. I can sense with this, Barnes is getting more comfortable with his 'flaw'." Vision stated. I leaned my head back against his chest.

Time Skip Kiki's POV

After an hour and a half, I was finally done with Bucky's arm. "Done!" I scooted back to admire it fully. Bucky looked at it from upside down. He smiled.

"I love it Kiki. I guess I'm ready for Christmas." He said. I smile and he pulls me onto his lap. I wrap my arms around him and we stay like that for a few seconds. We pulled away to find Wanda, Steve, and Nat standing at the door way. Each of them with their phones out. Bucky and I stared in shock. Wanda puts her phone away and rushes to Bucky, gently grabbing his arm.

"Oh my gosh! That's so cool!" She exclaimed, studying my work very carefully. Bucky chuckled at this. Then, Wanda just ran off with out a word. He turned to me trying to hide his smile.

"Ok then." I say. He nods.

Everyone loved Bucky's arm. Saying I should do something like this for every holiday. Bucky was for once happy to show off his arm and let people touch it. I was proud of him for cracking his shell just a bit more. He even told now he feels more comfortable with his metal arm.
