~Imagine 1~

I heard a crack from the door. I my head shot up, my motherly instincts already kicking in. I held my baby close to me. Loki emerged from behind the door. I clenched my jaw. "I suppose you don't even want to see her." I growled, still breathing hard from the labor. Loki quietly shuts the door from behind him and stalks towards me.

"She still is my biological daughter." He argued calmly. Dammit, he was right. I looked down at her, she looked just like him. Loki stand right next to me and tilts his head to look at our baby. Helana was asleep. I raised my head to look at the floor.

"Would you like to hold her?" I ask, not looking at him. He didn't respond. Instead, he sat next to me on the bed, facing me. I slowly held her out and Loki took her into his arms. Hel was so wrapped up in her pastel green blanket, Loki and her weren't having any skin to skin contact. That was, until Loki moved the blanket slightly, reveling Helana's arm. He brushed his fingers over it. That's when, both Loki and Hel started to turn Jotun blue. The color engulfed them, turning Loki's eyes blood red. I leaned over to see Hel had opened her eyes. They were red too. She stared at us in awe. I smiled. Not matter what she looked like, she was beautiful. Loki shook his head. Did he dare disapprove of his own daughter!?

"I'm sorry for not being at your side love. Father demanded that I attend a meeting. He announced that she shall be, along with the next ruler of Asgard, the goddess of Death." He apologized, still making eye contact with Helana. "I wanted to be with you so bad." He added, finally looking at me. With one arm, he held Helana. With the other, he caressed my cheek. "I heard you're wails and screams in pain. It broke my heart."

He had such a way with words. He knew exactly what to say to make me love him once again.

~Imagine 2~

I walked into my chambers from a meeting about Helana with Odin. I walked in to see the greatest sight ever. My daughter, curled up against her father's chest, take turns reading a book. Loki teaching Helana new words she didn't understand. I smiled at the sight in front of me. Neither of them noticed me. I quietly walked over and snuggled up next to them. "The Honorable Scythe Faraday- hello love."  Loki greeted, finally noticing me.

"Mother!" Helana cheered, hugging me.  hugged back, and over her shoulder, Loki gave me a kiss. We pulled away.

"What book are you two reading?" I asked, getting comfortable. I was extremely tired after a whole day of training with Sif.

"Scythe. It's a Midgardian novel." Loki answered. I nodded. Helana loved Midgardian novels the best. Loki continues read. Slowly, I fall asleep to the sound of his voice and the warmth in my heart.

~Imagine 3~

I looked for Helana everywhere. My wife hasn't even seen her. I was drawing near to the training room. That's when I heard women grunting and sword clinging. I widened my eyes, hoping that wasn't who I was looking for.

I blew open the door to reveal Sif standing over my daughter who was on the floor, holding her sword to her throat. I clenched my jaw. "Hurt my daughter in any way, and I'll seek it that you be executed. " I threatened. Sif chuckles, lending out a hand for Helana. Which she gladly accepts and pulls herself up to her feet.

"Stop worrying, father, just a bit of training fun." Hel says with a carefree smile.

"Forgive me if I do not find swinging heavy metal round...fun." I spat out the last word as if it was venom. I studied my daughter carefully. She had cuts and bruises running on every single inch of bare skin. Dirt coats the wounds. She was wearing classic battle armor and her hair was in a messy braid.

"Fun or not, she still needs how to protect herself out there." Sif defended, poking Hel with her sword at the plate covered shoulder. I rolled my eyes.

~Imagine 4~

I woke up to someone creaking opening the door, sniffling. The next thing I heard was little patters of feet running up next to my bedside. I open my eyes to find my tiny daughter with red eyes and a huge frown on her face. All of a sudden, a crash of lighting hits

Boom! Crackle!

Helana cries and I hurry to pick her up, opening the covers so she could get in. Loki sat up, and turned on a lamp. Helana curled into my arms and pressed her face into my chest. "What's wrong, love?" I asked in a soft voice, Loki placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. Helana peeks one eye out.

"The Thunder and lightning is scary! It keeps coming closer!" Hel cries. Loki pulls her to his chest and kisses the tears away.

"I understand it can be frightening at times. But just remember that its just Uncle Thor doing his job. He won't let the Thunder hurt you, I promise. How about stay here for the res of the night, all right?" Loki explained. Helana nodded.

SSSCREEEECCHHHHH! WOOSH!

Another Thunder clapped, louder this time. It didn't help that Thor flew past our window right after, only adding to the scary sounds. This time, Hel screamed and shuffled under the covers. Loki chuckled and pulled her out by her hips. She curled up into a tight ball. I knew the one thing that would calm her down.

Come little children
I'll take thee away

I started singing. But, Hel didn't budge. I continued

Into a land of enchantment
Come little Children
The time's come to play

I felt Helana relax under my touch. I scooted closer to her and Loki. Loki had a hint of smile on his face. Apparently, he loved it when I sang.

Here in my garden of shadows
Follow sweet children
I'll show thee the way

Helana slowly started coming out of her ball. She didn't make eye contact with us at first. Loki pulled the covers back up to her chin, and his chest.

Through all the pain and the sorrow
Weep not poor children
For life is this way

Hel's eye started getting heavy. She laid her head down on the middle pillow, between Loki and I. Loki and I laid down next to her.

Murdering beauty and passions

I decided to sing that last line just to make sure she was asleep.
