Fake Cheating - S.R

Steve's POV

I was dropping off Coven at some Restaurant, once it came into view, I saw a man standing outside the building smoking. Coven l smiled. I stopped the car right in front of the building and unbuckled herself. "Thanks for the ride, Steve. I really appreciate it." She said with a smile. 

"Any time." I respond with the same smile. She got out and walked over to the man smoking. They kissed. My jaw dropped. I didn't know Coven had a boyfriend. I sped off as fast as I could. All I could see was red. If it wasn't obvious already, I had a huge crush on Coven. 

My POV

Steve would go back to the tower upset. His jaw and fists were clenched tight, His eyes were concentrated on the floor in front of him, not making eye contact with anyone. He walked into the kitchen to get a water bottle, sadly, everyone was hanging out in there. Natasha was first to notice him in the room. "Whats wrong, Steve?" Natasha asked. 

"Nothing," he replied.

"Just tell us, Capsicle!" Tony said. Knowing if he didn't push, Steve was hold it forever. 

"Some son of a gun was kissing Coven." He growled. Every either gasped or was silent with shock. No one knew of this. Steve grabbed his water, and without him knowing, crushed it easily. Water went everywhere. Steve mumbled a string of cuss words under his breath, but started to clean up. 

"Do you know who?" Sam asked, concern laced in between words. Sam and Bucky were the only ones Steve told his crush to. But everyone else could see it perfectly. 

"No. But I'm betting hes her little boyfriend." He answered, throwing the dish rag in the sink. Natasha gave him a sympathetic look. 

Time Skip to Coven's POV

I just got back from my date with Clay. I was walking down the hall trying to get to my room. All of a sudden Tony popped out of nowhere. "Hey." I said. He glared at me. 

"A little birdie told me you have a boyfriend." He said. Shit. I didn't want anyone to know. I knew they were going to tease me for it. I sigh and nod. Tony shakes his head disappointingly. Okay, now I'm worried. 

"Yeah."

"Who is he?"

"Clay."

"Clay what?"

"Clay Appuzzo." I answered. Why was he pushing? Tony nodded then started to walk off, but I stopped him. 

"Why did you need to know?" I asked. This made him snap.

"Because Steve likes you and is jealous of the kiss you and this Clay fellow shared!" He snapped. I was taken back. Steve...liked me? Why? That's when he stepped out of the room looking like a kicked puppy. A wash of guilt fell over me. Steve slowly made his way over to us.

"I...I'm sorry, Cov. Seeing you with him, I just immediately hated that bastard."
