People stared at us as we walked down the street. "People are staring at us...again." Steve announces to me. I nod and grip his hand tighter.

"I know. But who cares?" I comment.

"I do. I make you look stupid. Dating a man that's smaller, weaker, and sicker than you. I make you look bad to the public." Steve rants. I pull us to a halt and face Steve, huffing.

"Steve, how many time's do I have to tell you that I love you. I don't care what we look like to the public because I love you. I don't care how tall you are, how stranger your are, or even if you're the healthiest person in Brooklyn. I love you as you, Steve. Your voice is reminds me of dark chocolate. Sweet and strong. Plus, you have a really big heart. Always sticking up for what's right. And me." I end my praise there. Steve looks up at me, love and gratefulness filled his eyes, along with a small smile. He pulls me in for a hug. I wrap my arms around him and rest my chin on the top of his head.

We pull away and continue walking.

Steve and I were watching a scary movie. It was really scary. It was called The Mummy's Hand. We were on a double date with my brother and his girlfriend Dolores, or Dot, as we called her. All of a sudden the mummy appeared out of nowhere, I yelped and hid my face in Steve shoulder. I could him chuckle and wrap an arm around my shoulder. I peeked my head from his shoulder to see the mummy was still there, I hid my vision again.

"Its okay to come out now." Steve whispered in my ear. I lifted my head up and continued watching the movie. Steve unwrapped his arm just to entwine our hand. He gently rubbed his thumb across mine, back and forth, for the rest of the movie.

Steve and Bucky were supposed to be back a little bit ago. I started getting worried. But that's when they finally walk through the door. I stood up from the couch with a relieved smile on my face. It dropped instantly at the sight of my brother practically carrying my boyfriend into the house. "Steve! What happened!?" I exclaimed, rushing to get the medical kit as Bucky dropped Steve on the couch.

"Oh ya know. The usual fight in an alley." He responds, his voice weak and raspy. I kneeled in front of Steve and scanned him to see all of his injuries. Bucky went into the kitchen.

"Steve, baby, I told you to stop getting into fights. Sometimes, you just need to keep that pretty mouth shut." I scold him lightly, opening the kit and grabbing the alcohol and cotton balls. Bucky came back with a glass of water and an ice pack. Steve drank the water and put the ice pack on his swollen shut eye. I started cleaning the cuts and Steve hissed. I apologized.

"Yeah, the bastard had a knife. Luckily it was dull though." Bucky commented. I glanced at him, only to see a large cut on his hand. I sigh.

"I think that might need stitches, Bucky." I commented with a slightly annoyed tone. Buck waves me off.

"Ah, I'm fine baby sis. Just wrap it up for me and I'll be fine." He says. I finished with Steve and bandaged him up.

"You need rest." I say to him in a soft voice, kissing the top of his head. I started to work on my brother's hand.

Bucky left with his and wrapped in white. I turned back to see Steve laying across the couch, sleeping. I smile.

Bucky and I were just having a drink on my porch on a Friday evening. "You really love her, don't ya?" Bucky asks, staring out into the distance ahead of him. I nod.

"Of course I do. I'm just glad she loves me back." I answer, mumbling the last part before taking a swig. Buck nods.

"Yeah. As much as I love seeing my sister and my best friend happy, if you break her heart, I will not hesitate to beat you up." Bucky threatens, looking at me.

"I won't. I promise. Its not like I could cheat on her or something. She is the only woman attracted to me. I want to keep her forever." I say. We both sat in a comfortable silence. "So, you aren't going to give me the 'Big Brother Talk?" I joked. Bucky shook his head.

"Just did. But, instead of a 'talk', I gave you, more like a 'threat'."
