Peter opens his eyes tiredly and rolls his head over to the door as it opens. He'd been here for seven days - that he remembered. He finally understood that he was ill. There were no superheroes and his aunt and uncle were killed two years ago.

It caused him to have a psychotic break and he'd been here ever since. Ever since he attacked Doctor Blake a few days ago, they've been keeping him slightly sedated but he's finally getting better. Blake and the nurses even said so.

"Hi Peter. How are you feeling today?" Blake asks kindly. " 'm good. Tired." He slurs. Blake nods and comes to sit on the edge of the bed. "I'm starting to think you'll be ready to be discharged soon." Blake says thoughtfully.

Peter smiles. Then he frowns. "But wait, where will I go?" He asks. Blake only smiles. "There is a nice couple waiting to take you in Peter." He assures. Peter nods and closes his eyes.

His heart aches at the thought of not being Spider-Man and his aunt being gone. But mostly because the mentor he'd grown to love as a father had no clue who he was.

He frowns sadly and rolls onto his side. "Are you Okay Peter?" Blake asks in concern. Peter nods. "I jus really wish I actually knew Mister Stark. He was pretty cool in my ... delusion." He says.

Blake rests a hand on Peter's shoulder. "You never know. You might meet him for real one day." Blake assures, knowing for a fact tha Peter would be returned to Stark. After all, they were meant to send the broken boy back.

"I did meet him once." Peter speaks up. Blake frowns. "Peter..." He says sadly. "No, no. Before all this. When I was little at the Stark expo. He saved me." Peter explains.

"Ah. That's a very nice memory Peter. You should cherish the memories you love." Blake advises. Then he stands. "I'll be seeing you tomorrow about being discharged." He tells the teen.

Peter nods once again and Blake leaves. Peter sighs at the thought of never seeing Mister Sark again. He knows he really hasn't but it still feels like he did. But then he thinks of all the times he'd worked in the lab with his mentor and how real the sickness felt when he got bit by the spider.

And how May and him had gotten closer than ever after Ben died. Tears come to his eyes because he has no idea what to believe. He remembers May's horrible lasagna and Mister Stark's bots and the movie nights and game nights.

A sob rips from his throat. This couldn't be real! He does know Mister Stark! And May is alive! He sits up and yanks his arms as hard as he can. The straightjacket snaps with no hesitation.

He jumps up and runs to the door. He slams against it and it doesn't budge. He slams against it again and he hears it creak. He hits it one more time and it flies open. He stumbles into a dark dory hall and he immediately knows he was right. He'd been kidnapped.

His friends, aunt, and mentor had to be worrying out of their minds about him. He sees the two familiar 'nurses' and runs at them. They scream and run off. He shoves them to the wall, not caring that they cry out in pain.

He feels tears stream down his cheeks as he stumbles down the hall. He wants to go home. He finally sees Blake watchinghim with wide eyes as he slowly backs away.

Peter yells and punches him. He almost grins at the satisfying crack and stumbles into the wall. Then he rushes down the hall to the only other door he sees. He gasps and flings it open. He steps out into the street with a disbelieving smile.

Then he promptly collapses.
