Peter can't help but grin as he leaves his mentor's lab. "See you Friday, kid!" The billionaire calls. "See you, Mister Stark!" He calls back. They'd spent the entire day working on their suits and they both absolutely loved every lab day.
Peter had slowly grown to love being around the man. And Tony felt the same. Not that he'd ever admit it. Peter adjusts his bag on his back and leaves the building, getting ready to head home.
He frowns when suddenly his spider senses flare. His head snaps up and he looks around, not seeing anything. Then something stings his neck and he gasps. His hand flies to his neck and he pulls out a small dart.
His eyes widen and before he can even form words, he's unconscious on the pavement. Two men dressed in dark clothing pick up the limp boy and throw him in the back of an SUV. Their plan was finally starting.
To say the rogue Avengers didn't expect to be kidnapped was an understatement. All they knew was that they were totally fine and then they weren't. The fact that someone had managed to kidnap Natasha Romanova, Steve Rogers, Clint Barton, and Bucky Barnes, was a mystery.
So when they wake up in large room with no way out, they're pissed and slightly worried. "How the fuck. Like seriously. How. The. Fuck." Clint says exasperatedly.
"I don't know. Now shut up." Natasha groans out, rolling her eyes. They couldn't exactly try to call anyone even if they did have their phones. Not Tony (he hated them) and surely not the police.
They'd rather be kidnapped then let Ross get a hold of them again. Suddenly the door slams open and they all look up from their spots on the ground on the other side of the room.
Five armed men dressed in all black were dragging someone in who had a bag on his head. He was obviously unconscious by the way he didn't even try to fight. "Hey! Who the hell are you and where are we?" Clint yells. They don't answer and they slam the door shut on their way out.
Steve sighs. "Who's the guy?" Bucky asks after a moment. Natasha decides to figure that out. She gets up and walks over to the guy. She takes the bag off his head and gasps.
It was clearly a kid. A young kid. He couldn't be older than seventeen. "It's-it's a kid." She says softly. The others look at him in shock. "Okay, us I understand. But some random kid? These people really are idiots." Clint growls.
Natasha sits back down and they all watch the mysterious kid. Slowly but surely, he starts to wake. His face scrunches and he groans. Then his eyes snap open and he sits up with a gasp.
His eyes widen as he takes in the sight of them. "Oh my god, you're the Avengers." He breathes. Clint grins. "Uh, Rogue Avengers technically. We're war criminals." Bucky corrects.
The kid looks between them all in shock. "This is so cool." He exclaims. Steve frowns. "You realize you've been kidnapped, right?" He asks the kid. He nods. "Yeah. But like, you're the Avengers! I can worry about my kidnapping later." He says nonchalantly. Bucky snorts.
To say Peter was surprised to see the rogue avengers was an understatement. He didn't even care that he was kidnapped at first because he was looking at The Sinter Soldier, The Black Widow, Captain America, and Hawkeye.
Sure Mister Stark was cool, but this was four more! He grins slightly then shakes the thought from his head. "So, any idea where we are?" He asks them, still awed.
"No clue, kid." Natasha says. (The Black Widow!!!!) He shrugs. Then the gravity of the situation hits him and he frowns. He'd been kidnapped. If the one who'd taken him had also taken the Avengers, how was he supposed to escape?
The door opens once again and they all look up, not bothering to move. A man walks in with a smile and two guards come in, standing behind him with guns out, ready to be used.
"Hello. I'm sure you're all wondered what you're doing here, yes?" The man asks. Peter rolls his eyes and the rogues scowl. "Well it has to do with Tony Stark." He says when none of them answer.
The rogues are confused now. If this had to do with Tony, why was some random kid here? Peter has the exact opposite thought. "Uh, you know Mister Stark and the Avengers kinda fell out, right?" He asks the man.
The rogues seem surprised. How the hell did the kid know Tony? "Of course. Everybody knows that." The man says with a roll of his eyes. He then pulls out a phone from his pocket.
"Here we go, I wonder how much he's worrying about you Mister Parker." He says, looking at the screen. Peter frowns. The others are even more confused. Then the dial tone starts and Peter understands.
This guy was trying to call his mentor. He doesn't pick up and the man scowls. He calls again. Tony answers this time. "Okay who the fuck are you and how did you get my personal number? I'm kind of busy." He growls.
"My name isn't what matters." The man says with a grin, staring at the screen. So it must be a video call. "I swear to- i'm Gonna have a fucking aneurysm. What do you want?" Tony asks exasperatedly.
"Well, it's more like what do you want? Your intern perhaps?" The man replies. Tony's breath hitches. "You have him? You have Peter? If you harm a hair on his head I'm going to fucking-" Tony snarls.
"Oh shush." The man interrupts. The rogues have no idea how to feel or what to think right now. "How about this, take a look. He's fine." The man says, angling the screen toward Peter.
He looks at his mentor's worried face with wide eyes. "Mister Stark! The avengers are here!" He exclaims with a smile. Tony's face pales. "The Who are what-now?" He asks.
"Erm, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Winter Soldier." He says. Tony sighs. "I'm gonna get you out of there kid, you got me?" Tony responds. Peter nods brightly before the screen is pulled away.
The man leaves the room, still talking to the billionaire. "So, you know Tony." Steve says after a minute. Peter nods slowly. They're all being held in some sort of un-escapable room with no clue where they are and a billionaire superhero trying to find them. Their odds aren't good.
"Well shit." Peter mutters.
