l. puppy peter

Request by marvelfan1012345 sorry it took me so long ! :) oml I had so much fun writing this!!

Tony's brows pull together in frustration as he works. "How do I even - why am I even doing this? I don't know anything about dogs!" He cries angrily. He shoves the device away with a grumble of annoyance and turns to work on other, more important projects.

He's pretty sure something important was happening today, but instead of finding out what, he sits there and waits for Pepper to remind him at some point. He hears the lab door open and smiles; right on cue.

"Hey Pep-" he spins around in his chair and stops. Ah, that's what was important. "Hi Mister Stark!" The doe-eyed, curly haired teen exclaims. Tony smiles that smile that only Peter gets to see.

"Hey, Kiddo. You bring the suit?" He asks casually. Peter nods enthusiastically and takes his bag off his shoulder, pulling the suit out. He flattens it on the empty table and Tony rolls over to it, reaching for his tools.

"Okay can you hand me that?" Tony asks, looking back at Peter. The teen nods and reaches for the tool and picks up the weird dog device that Tony had made. He grabs the screwdriver and hands it to his mentor, setting the device down at the same time.

Tony turns back to the table just in time to hear Peter yelp. He spins back around and his eyes widen. Where the hell did Peter go? He narrows his eyes and quickly looks up at the ceiling. Nope, no spider kid up there. "Where the hell?" He mutters, scratching the back of his head.

Then he hears a bark. A bark? He looks down and his eyes widen. Because sitting on the ground, was a tiny yellow lab puppy. "Uh, hi puppy?" Tony says awkwardly.

Either Peter had disappeared off the face of the earth and a dog randomly made its way in here, or Peter was a dog. "Well shit."

Tony sighs in annoyance as he plops down on the couch. Peter yaps happily and comes running at Tony full speed. He then trips over his feet - paws - at the last second and faceplants.

Tony pities the teen/dog and picks him up, plopping him on the couch beside him. "No peeing, got it?" He says. Peter somehow manages to look mad as a puppy and barks angrily.

Tony merely grins, patting Peter's head. Peter leans into the touch but then pulls away with another yap. He jumps off the couch - miraculously not faceplanting this time - and sprints toward the large houseplant in the corner.

"No! No Peter no!" Tony cries, racing after the puppy. He stops mid step and cringes as Peter does his business in the soil. "Seriously? Okay, you know what? You're never living this down." The billionaire says with a smirk.

Then Peter proceeds to walk onto the white carpet with his dirty paws. Tony groans. "You are the worst dog ever." He whines. Peter's brown eyes twinkle at Tony innocently and then Peter takes off sprinting for the wall.

Tony chases after him, deciding that a dog shaped hole in the wall might upset Pepper and his teammates. But Peter steps onto the wall and keeps going up. Tony stops chasing the pup, staring in horror at the dark paw prints going up the wall and onto the ceiling.

Peter plants his but on the ceiling, his floppy ears hanging and his tongue sticking out of his mouth. Tony slowly reaches for his phone and pulls it out. First he takes like a billion pictures to lord over his kid for the rest of time.

Then he calls Bruce. "Heyyyy Brucie. You wouldn't happen to know how to turn a dog back into a human, would you?" He asks as soon as the scientist picks up.

He grimaces at Bruce's response, "Did you say 'back'?!" "Yes, I said 'back'. I turned Peter into a dog." He can basically feel his science bro's facepalm. "I'll be there soon." The call ends quickly after that and Tony is left to figure out how to get his kid/dog off the ceiling before Pepper gets home.

"Tony? What the hell is this?" His eyes widen. Too late. "Run Peter!" Tony hisses, dashing down the opposite hall. Peter follows, just on the ceiling. "Anthony Edward Stark!"
