Random teen saved by Tony Stark

[the video is grainy and you hear and see rain. It's dark and it looks like it's taken from a phone camera. The person gasps and steps out of their car when they see Iron Man land down and burst from his suit. "Peter!" He shouts and the person holding the phone is mumbling words under their breath. "Just let me go Mr. Stark." The kid responds, standing on the railing of the bridge. Tony steps forward with his arms out and the person holding the phone is shaking. "Please, just come down from there. We can talk about this. I can help you." Tony begs. The kid looks between the billionaire and the water and hesitates. "But... I don't want help." The person holding the phone nearly drops it in shock. They're breathing deeply. Tony reaches for the kid. "Take my hand Peter. Let's go home." The man begs. It seems to happen in just one second as the boy reaches out but slips. Tony is heard screaming before he' suddenly in his armor diving for the boy. The person holding the phone lets out a high pitched screech, rushing to the edge and frantically looking around. They finally spot the duo on the shore, the kid puking up water. Then they're hugging and the video ends.]

The video became viral in just a few hours and it was quickly found out just who the mysterious 'Peter' was. Peter Parker, the man's intern. As soon as May sees the video she freaks the fuck out.

She dials Tony and before he says a word she's screaming in his ear. "Where is he?! Where's my boy?!" She cries. "He's at the tower, May. Happy coming to get you now. He's fine. He's alive." The tired billionaire responds. She'd never seen Happy drive so fast.

The rogue avengers eventually see the video, shock evident on their features as they watch their ex-teammate save a boy from suicide. They wonder about both of them. And they regret the civil war.

Ned and Michelle see the video and for once, Michelle doesn't act like she's unfazed. They both have tears running down their faces by the time it's over. Everybody at school sees it at some point and they all wonder what had happened to the happy go lucky science nerd they all knew.

Flash? Flash had never been so guilty. He remembered teasing Parker about jumping off a bridge but he never thought he would actually do it. Parker was the nerd that knew all the answers to every question and always had better grades even when he never payed attention in class.

Flash remembered how Parker has stiffened and shrugged, ignoring the rest of his taunts. Now Flash wanted to jump off a bridge. Nobody knew what to expect or what to do.

Peter's phone blew up with way too many texts and calls to count but he answered none of them. Nobody knew what to expect but they sure as hell didn't expect Tony Stark to drop him off at school the next day.

When Peter walked in everybody stared but nobody said a word. He glanced around uneasily remembering his aunt and mentor's words. That they were a call away and he could leave any moment he wanted.

But he doesn't. He stands tall and walks to his locker silently. He hears someone clear their throat behind him and turns around. He sees Ned and Michelle standing there with wide concerned eyes before they suddenly pull him into a hug.

"Don't ever do that again. You scared the shit out of us Parker." Michelle says. He smiles weakly. "I won't." He mutters. They both pull back. "God Peter.... we should get to class. But we will talk about this." Ned says.

Peter nods. "Definitely." He says. He grabs his books and shuts his locker, just about to start walking down the hall with his friends when a voice stops him. "Peter?" He cringes at Flash's voice. Then he sighs and notices his friends glaring at Flash.

He turns around. "Yeah Flash?" He asks. "I, uh, wanted to say sorry. What I said the other day... it was horrible." He mutters sadly, looking down. Peter shrugs. "Wasn't your fault. I thought like that for a while." He mumbles. All three look at him in alarmed concern.

He shrugs it off. "Whatever. Friends?" Peter asks. Flash grins. "Friends." He confirms.
