Peter's a Stark in this one
Peter moans quietly as he tries to stay awake in History class. MJ rubs his back, pretending not to care as she reads her book. He'd been out on patrol all night. He lost track of time and when he was finally done stopping crimes he asked Karen for the time and she replied 3 AM.
He had quickly gone home and collapsed into his bed, not being able to finally fall asleep until 4:30. Then to top it all off he woke up at 5:57 and couldn't fall back asleep.
So now here he was, trying to actually listen to the teacher. He finally decides, after the fifth time of asking MJ what the teacher said, that he would just try to take a quick nap.
He buries his face in his arms and he falls asleep, trusting MJ to wake him up when class ends.
He jolts awake when MJ jabs him in the side. "-reer day. Make sure you get these slips for your parents to sign. Remember, career day on Friday. Have your parents or parent show up for this hour!" The teacher exclaims right before the bell rings. Peter's eyes widen, sleep long forgotten.
How in the hell could he bring his dad to career day?! He couldn't bring his mom either! They were freaking Tony and Pepper Stark! Ned was watching him with wide eyes from across the room.
Peter gathers his stuff, shooting a dreadful look at his friends. "What do I do?" He whispers panicked. "I guess you could just not tell them?" Ned suggests . they grab the slips. They walk out of the class. "Are you kidding? Aunt Tasha will find out right away! She's a spy!" He whispers panicked.
"I don't know Peter, maybe you'll finally be revealed to the world." MJ says in an announcer voice. He sighs. "Come on, you know they don't want anybody to find out about me until I'm eighteen." He argues. "I know, I know. I'm sorry Peter. Guess you'll just have to go alone like last year." Ned says, sad for his friend. Peter sighs and mumbles a goodbye to his friends.
He goes to his locker and shoves his stuff inside. His spider senses tingle and he readies himself for the hit. Sure enough he gets shoved into the locker and spun around. "Hey Penis Parker! You all sad because you don't have any parents to take to career day?" Flash taunts. Peter imagines the day he gets to sock Flash in the nose, and just grits his teeth.
"Yep, you got me. Can I go now?" He asks. Flash growls and punches him in the face. He feels his lip split and refrains from using the training from his aunt and uncles to kick his ass.
"Don't mock me. See you tomorrow Penis." He spits. Peter waits until Flash and his goons are gone, then he turns back around to his locker and grabs his bag. He walks outside, and spots Happy's car. He jogs over and slides in the back. He tilts his head down slightly so Happy can't see the bloody lip and sags against the door.
Happy doesn't say anything as he drives to the tower, used to Peter being unpredictable. One day he could be super energetic and ready to take on a super villain, and the next he would be so tired you'd think he's dead.
So when Happy sees the kid close his eyes and lean against the door he doesn't mention it.
Once they get there he reaches back and taps on the kids shoulder. He jolts awake and blinks. "Thanks uncle Happy." He mutters, opening the door and trudging to the elevator. He rides up to the penthouse and walks into the kitchen.
He sees Steve, Clint, Natasha, and Tony in there. Tony was drinking coffee while talking to steve, and Clint and Natasha were arguing about something. They all look at Peter when he walks in then resume what they were doing. "Dad." Peter groans, sliding into a seat next to Clint.
Tony looks away from Steve, hearing the distress in his son's voice. "What is it? You okay?" He asks him, concern swimming in his eyes. Peter shakes his head and pulls the slip of paper from his bags. He slides it across the table and Tony picks it up. As he reads it Peter begins talking. "I'll just tell the teacher that you can't co-" Tony interrupts him, "I'll go." He says. Peter's eyes widen in surprise.
He had not been expecting that. "But, I thought you're like super busy and you don't want anyone to find out until I graduate?" He asks. Tony sighs and rubs his forehead. "Screw it, why not? Maybe that Flash kid will quit picking on you after this. You said he likes to taunt you about not really knowing me?" Tony says.
Tony had no idea the full extent of what Flash did and Peter hoped it stayed that way. The smile that lights up Peter's face makes Tony confirm that he made the right decision. He signs the paper, way too unintelligible to read so Peter wasn't accused of forgery. Besides, who actually read the signatures on permission slips? He was mostly sure that people just scribbled a couple of loops and called it a signature. He did that once and nobody noticed the difference.
He gives the signed paper back to his son and he happily shoves it in his bag. He stands up and hugs his dad. He returns the hug and looks down at his face. He frowns when he sees the split lip. Peter immediately knows what he's looking at. "Oh I just bit my lip, nothing to worry about." He lies easily.
Tony nods and Peter runs off to his room, to call Ned.
"He said yes?" Ned asks incredulously. "Yeah! He must've like felt bad or something because he said that he actually would!" Peter responds happily. "I cannot wait to see the look on Flash's face!" Ned exclaims with a laugh. Then he makes a disgusted sound. "What is it?" Peter asks.
"I was thinking of how satisfying it will be when Flash caps (Autocorrected by captain language) his pants but now it's giving me bad visuals." Ned says. Peter starts laughing hysterically and chokes. When he finally calms he sighs happily. "I should probably get going now. I think I smell Uncle Steve making pasta. Bye Ned." He says. "Bye Peter!" Ned exclaims.
Peter hangs up and heads down to dinner. He wasn't exactly sure how tomorrow would go but he really hoped everything would go okay. But since when did things go his way?

Peter sits in the back of the room as the other parents talk about their jobs and the awesome things they do. Class was nearly over, with only fifteen minutes left and Tony had yet to show up.
Flash keeps making fun of him and kicking his chair, only stopping when his mom looks at him. When he's the last one to go he sighs sadly and looks to the teacher. "He must not be coming, sorry. He's probably busy or something." He says, trying to hide his disappointment.
The teacher opens her mouth to responds but they all hear a metal clanking noise and towards the door. There stood Tony Stark, walking out of his armor. "M-mr. Stark! W-what brings you here?!" The teacher exclaims happily, rushing up to him. Tony flashes a smile at her. "Career day right? It took me like twenty minutes to get to the class. Everybody was too busy being all star struck to tell me where this class was." He explains.
Peter's smile is wide as he watches his dad search the room. His eyes land on Peter and he grins. "Ah, Pete my boy!" He exclaims, walking up and throwing an arm around him. He gladly returns the hugs and everyone gasps. Peter returns to his seat and Tony begins to explain the things he does as Ironman and as an inventor.
Everyone keeps interrupting with questions but he doesn't mind. Tony winks at Peter as he leaves the class. "I'll meet you after!" He calls. "What the hell Penis!? What shit did you have to do to get Tony Stark to pretend to be your dad?!" He hisses loudly. All of the adults look shocked at the boy, while most of the students just look confused.
Peter sighs. His eyes widen when he hears his dad's footsteps freeze and quickly come back to the room. "Crap, Flash just-" Peter says quickly but Tony stalks back in, a look of pure fury on his face.
"What the fuck did you just say to my son?!" He roars. Flash cower back in fear. "N-nothing s-sir." He stutters. "That's what I thought," he snaps, "you say or do anything to him ever again and you will never get into any good school ever."
Tony turns to Peter. "You. Come. We need to talk."
